Will my TV fit this mount? Your TV is compatible with this mount as long as it meets three criteria: screen size between 37 and 75 inches, weight no more than 132 lbs, and feature a VESA mounting hole pattern of 200×100 mm (7.87"×3.94") to 600×400 mm (23.62"×15.75"). What is VESA? VESA refers to the distance between the four mounting holes on the back of the TV (measure horizontal and vertical distances in millimeters), and this mount supports patterns from 200×100 mm to 600×400 mm. Is it compatible with 24-inch wooden stud spacing? No, it cannot be directly installed on 24-inch wooden stud spacing—use a stud finder to check, as it works with 8-inch, 12-inch, and 16-inch spacing, and we recommend a wooden stud adapter for 24-inch spacing. Can it be installed on drywall or metal studs? No, this mount is designed for wooden studs, brick walls, or concrete walls. Do not mount on drywall alone or metal stud. What if the mount blocks the TV's cable ports? If the mount blocks any ports, use the included spacers and screws to create space for the cables. Note: Don't use electric drill. Note: This TV wall mount fits for use in wood stud and solid concrete wall. DO NOT install into drywall alone.

Sturdy and convenient

My dad and hubby mounted this above the fireplace about a year and a half ago. Our TV is pretty big and heavy. They spent a while figuring everything out and drilling 2X4s to the wall because we are in a rented home. They attached the mount to the 2X4s, which can’t be seen now. The TV swivels to the right or left, moves left or right (to be able to center it where you want it), can come away from the wall toward you, and I think it even tilts up or down. It’s easy to move and we’ve had no issues. It’s in the corner so I like to angle it often then push it back in. It’s definitely had some use. FYI We have been using the fireplace this past week and because we have a mantle, the TV area is not getting overly warm. Use caution if you mount it above a fireplace and keep an eye on the temp of your TV. If you don’t have a mantle, I’d recommend mounting it somewhere else if you plan on using the fireplace.

I highly recommend this product. It’s very nice very sturdy very durable. We used wood studs that I think are about an inch and a half thick. We were able to find the wall studs in the wall, but I just wanted to add this for extra security measures. My TV is 75 inches from Roku and it works great.

Works good, but would recommend not mounting anything over 75" without reinforcing with plywood

Totally pleased with this mount for my 85" TV. Although, I had some concerns about the width of the part that mounted to the wall. I thought it should have been at least 6" wider. But, I first anchored a piece of 3/4" plywood on the wall first making sure I hit two studs with lag bolts. Then mounted the articulating TV mount with extra lag bolts. It worked great and I painted the plywood first the color of the wall.
