I’m relatively handy and the go-to person for whatever projects need to be done around the house. I have patience, follow instructions and know when it’s time to put something down and come back the next day with fresh eyes. The reason I mention this is because I had purchased a “universal” 360 degree articulating wall mount a few years ago. I also bought a stud finder specifically for the install because I didn’t wanna take any chances. I’m not kidding when I tell you I tried to install that thing at least 5 times on a few different TV’s and just could not get it. I thought maybe it was outdated or I’d lost some hardware along the way, and was wanting to try again with a new mount, but most of them looked just like the one I had, with all the same claims. Then I saw this one and my skepticism was really peaking. But given the affordability and straightforward design/installation method, I said what the heck. I installed it myself for the 60” living room TV. It took less than 30 mins and could not have been any simpler to do! The instructions were simple and easy to follow, and the only tool needed was a hammer (it even came with a small bubble level that slides in the bracket, so you’re not fiddling with a separate level). All you do is hammer the bracket onto the wall, screw the plate onto the back of your TV, and hang the tv on the bracket! It’s also nice and sturdy. My TV is really lightweight but it’s still big, so it was nice not having to worry that it might come crashing down or get knocked off the wall. The instructions provided some reassurance, indicating that each nail holds 10lbs, so I knew if I used all of the nails provided I was getting enough stability for 20 of my TV’s. I use a lot of wall hangers with this style of angled nail so I went for it for mounting a 50" TV on a chimney wall covered in plaster. I've tried to anchor other things on this wall and it's difficult if you don't want to drill into the brick. Easy to install, just take your time. The included level was a nice touch. Even with my not perfectly straight plaster wall, I was able to get good purchase with all the nails. I would highly recommend plugging in all of your cables as there is no wiggle room once the TV is in place. TV has been up for over a month, I've checked the nails and everything is still seated nicely. A caveman could install this perfectly level. Honestly, when I ordered I didn't realize you could only use nails to install it. I just went with the least expensive that could be there by the next day because this is for a guest room. I had to look at the other reviews when it arrived once I realized it was nails only (to the wall, it comes with screws/bolts to hook to tv) to trust it haha. This is amazing so simple yet such good quality, it was so easy to mount the tv to the wall. Takes no time at all, the most time consuming step was going through all the different sizes of the screws for the back of the tv, they send a large range of sizes so you get the right one for the brand of tv you have. This product is great! We live in a double wide trailer so hanging anything heavy on the walls are nearly impossible due to the materials used. I bought this to hang my daughter’s TV in her room and honestly didn’t have much faith in it actually holding. Even when putting the nails in the mount I was skeptical because some came loose when installing the rest of them. However once all nails were put in the wall it was sturdy and the Tv is up and isn’t moving. I am not “handy” and tend to put about 10 holes in the wall before achieving what I’m doing. This was quick and easy! Took all of 10 minutes. The only downside is all the bolts did not work with the TV (Samsung). I used my own with spacers.
