Just used anchors that came with item he drilled into one stud only. Blows off a decent amount of heat to take the chill out of my home office. Has several different flame color choices along with the crystal color choices. Has a high low fan setting along with a timer and a remote control. I would recommend this product.

This mounted fireplace is very sleek, slim, attractive and easy to mount. The instructions are easy to follow. The heat is great and I like the way heater spreads heat throughout the room. It's ok. Install was easy, but looks very fake with flames. Update:. Tried using the heater function tonight and after about 30 seconds smoke starts pouring out of it. Guess I have a fake looking fireplace that won't produce heat....

It looks lovely and well packaged the flames and colors are nice it has different flame speeds and flame colors along with different backlighting only thing is you have to make sure to point the remote directly at it for it to work but that’s a minor con and as for durability I can’t say since I’ve only had it a month or so

I am very pleased with this fireplace. I made a frame for it to sit inside a console, and it looks like it was made just for it. The color choices are amazing for the flame and the stones. I did add a few more stones to the bottom but you really wouldn't have to. I just liked the idea of more color at the bottom. Yes, it gives off some heat, but don't expect it to heat a large room. If it's in an enclosed bedroom, you should be able to feel it. Love the ease of the remote control and all of the options. Also have to add that I did have a problem with my order, but the seller was amazing at contacting me right away and fixed the problem immediately. I am now very happy with my purchase.

Installation is straight forward. Measure, mark, cut install, clean up and enjoy. Now for the rest of the story... First, make sure the installation site is clear of obstructions, and that it does not include a loadbearing support. You will have to take out one, possibly two sections of non loadbearing 2X4s depending on the installation location and size of the one you purchase. I found a jigsaw works best on the drywall and a reciprocating saw to take out the 2X4 . (careful not to damage the drywall on the other side of the wall you are cutting). If you cut the drywall along the side of a support beam, you can use it to place three of the anchor screws give it added strength. The electrical cord can be cut into the house circuit, or in my case, I installed a 'brush cover' (not pictured) for the cord to slip through and plug into the outlet. The heater does put out warm air and it can be programed to turn off with the built in sleep timer. The colors of the crystals and flame can be programed for a number of different moods. Prep work is the key to enjoying the fireplace.

I ordered this fireplace to use as an insert on my wood burning fireplace - as my birthday present to myself. It arrived earlier than I expected. Then I had an accident and broke my hip, so I did not get back to the fireplace until Jan 2022. I did test it out briefly to see the colors and flames (without crystals - not installed yet). Even under those conditions, the bet and flames looked wonderful. I and my friend who 'tested' it out with me both agreed the flames looked very real and the color selections were vibrant. I am still healing from my injury so have to wait for someone else to install it for me (I am 75 yrs old - have to be careful). I love the color selection, and I noticed that I can also adjust the height of the flames. This fireplace is very well built - strong metal casing and bracket and thick strong glass over front of it. I am really impressed with the quality for the price I paid. I recommend this item to anyone who wants this type of fireplace.
