I ordered this chair thinking it looked PERFECT for my needs, and free shipping! Plus! ....it took a week to receive it (not a big deal) and when we put it together, it was immediately obvious it wasn’t the comfy plush chair of my dreams. We tried to return it, only to find out that we had to pay for the shipping ourselves. Again, not a HUGE issue, but we expected to pay $50-75 to send it back. We were okay with that loss. Come to find out, we were going to have to pay THREE HUNDRED AND NINE DOLLARS, which I kid I you not, is about .50cents more than the chair cost us. Buyer beware. ... show more

Update: Had to get another to complete my living room and to compliment my scroll arm loveseat and ottoman. Well...see for yourself, you won't be disappointed. I, too took a chance to purchase this chair with (1) review as the wingback seems to best fit my decor. As it turns out, it was simple to assemble and functions as described. PROS: It's very comfortable and supports well. I fell asleep in it the first day; The chair sits a little higher and allows for easier ups & downs being 6'1" and a disabled veteran with major back issues. CONS: If you're over 6 feet 3 inches and wide of body, this may not be the chair for you (will be a snug to tight fit); You'll want to invest in a neck roll due to couture of seat back at the neck; I wish it had a 'wall-hugger' mechanism, otherwise expect to have the rear legs a minimum of 26 inches from the wall to avoid damage when fully reclined. If after a couple of months the chair fairs well, I may consider purchasing several more for my home theater and Update...meanwhile it's time for another nap. ... show more

I am 175 LB Male, and 5ft 11inch and i fit with lots of room on this couch. It has roughly 3 positions, up right, leaned back a bit, and full almost laying down. I was looking for a chair i could use my laptop on and THIS WORKS GREAT! In the half incline position the arm rest works perfect and my laptop it sits great with my laptop lap stand (Link to stand https://amzn.to/2ZMvbov ). I may need a lower back support pillow later but for now IT IS GREAT! I was nervous because of the great price, and some reviews saying it was "too small" but IT IS NOT, TRUST ME. Plus set up was a breeze, just twist legs on and slide back into place. If your considering this, BUY IT, you'll love it. This was a birthday gift from my mother that actually arrived after she passed away suddenly. As you can imagine, this chair now holds a special place in my heart. It is the perfect color of plum that I wanted to add a pop of color to my autumnal colored living area. I love the styling and it was SUPER easy to put together. Chair LOOKS great. However, the chair is a horrible recliner. The leg support does not raise very far up, unless you are completely reclined like a bed! Most people want to watch TV in a reclined position. Which is impossible unless you have the TV mounted on the ceiling. The seat cushion is very deep. So you need a pillow behind you to fit in the chair. Or if you sit way back in the chair your legs are dangling off the edge like a small child. Also the back of the chair has fabric which fastens with velcro at the bottom. But when you recline the material leaves a open pocket to see into the back of the recliner. Which is a problem with pets as they like to lay in the fabric. You must ensure they aren't laying in there when you go to close the chair! I'm giving the chair away since it will NOT work for me. ... show more

I replaced a large sofa with two of these wingback chairs. They look just as pictured, and the color I got seemed very true to what I saw pictured on the Amazon pages. They're heavy, sturdy, and though I didn't know it, covered with extraordinarily stain resistant fabric (I have cats; trust me, I know what I'm talking about). It was a little difficult to assemble (the back comes separated from the chair base), but that's because I did it alone. If you have help, it will be a breeze. The reclining mechanism is also pretty stiff to start. Don't let that throw you; just put some "oomph" into it, and it eventually loosens up. Overall, though I was leery purchasing a piece of furniture online, I got lucky. I'm quite pleased with these chairs. ... show more

Love this chair it's right size for my husband, but yet not to big and not too tacky. I really do not like most recliner, I think they look really tacky. This is classy and can fit well in any living room
