This product definitely took some time to figure out. There are no instructions. All I had were examples on the item site on Amazon. I had to reconfigure to get it right several times. Also, the stakes are extremely small and light. I used heavy duty sand stakes instead. Plus, one of the ropes ripped as I was tied it for the first time. The tarp however seems high quality, and if it works to keep us dry I will be very happy. I will report back soon. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a good quality sun\rain awning for my van but had an event sooner than expected and didn't want to commit to anything expensive so I bought this. Although I will still be buying something in the future better quality, in a pinch this did everything I needed it to do. It was hot and sunny and this thing gave adequate shade. There were also strong steady winds and although the poles are rather thin, they held up surprisingly well. Then the monsoon came with heavy pouring rain for over an hour and everything underneath stayed nice and dry. I wouldn't expect this to last a long time with constant use, but to use from time to time I would say it is a good buy for the price. What are you waiting for... Not as sturdy as reported. I had it set up to prelude newly planted garden from burning in FL sun. The canvas slopes down on top of the plants, and the anchor pins were not sturdy, they came up just by pulling up on them. I had to buy sturdier anchors from Home Depot. This tarp worked great. I just spent 5 days at Cuyahooga National Park it rained every day and 4 of the nights I stayed there . My tent and I stayed dry it was a great adventure and addition to my outdoor gear. The tarp is made of nice materials and repels the rain. Happy journeys to you IJN
