When your kitchen remodel starts feeling like it might qualify as a long term relationship, you get creative. My oven is finally installed and working, but my cooktop is still nowhere in sight, so I have been surviving on hot plates. They get the job done… kind of. Cooking a full meal that way though? Not so much. That is what led me to try this electric hot pot, and honestly, I am really glad I did. This little thing has been a lifesaver. I have used it for boiling eggs, steaming dumplings, and even making sauces, and it handles all of it without a problem. It heats up fast too. I timed it, and it got my water to a rolling boil in about six minutes, which is something my old hot plate could never manage. Everything cooks evenly and it feels sturdy and reliable, not flimsy like some temporary kitchen solutions tend to be. If I had to point out one downside, it would be the cord length. It is definitely on the short side. Since I am basically cooking in a construction zone right now, outlets are not always where you want them to be. I have a designated area set up with my hot plates, rice cooker, air fryer, and now this hot pot, and I had to completely rearrange everything just so I could plug it in comfortably. Once that was figured out, though, it has been smooth sailing. Overall, this electric hot pot has been a surprisingly great addition to my makeshift kitchen. If you are remodeling, living without a cooktop, or just want something versatile and quick for everyday cooking, this one really pulls its weight.

As an avid camper I am always looking for ways to make camping more enjoyable. I was looking for a lot to boil water and prepare some meals. The first thing that caught my eye was the low price for everything you get. The build and quality is very nice and feels durable. I plugged this into my solar generator and was able to quickly get a full pot of water to a boil. The heat is quick and consistent. The pot is very is to use and even comes with a silicone mixing spoon. Cleaning was super easy. The surface feels non stick which makes cleaning easy. I have really enjoyed using this pot while camping.

This is a nice compact lightweight pot that heats quickly and cooks well. The construction is only ok and it probably isn't a lifelong item, but convenience and functionality are great. It's easy to clean and has no obvious safety hazards that I can see. Not a fan of the shiny thing on the lid, but otherwise a nice item.

Not so bad! I seriously thought,”oh no, here we go “. But I was wrong! It works pretty good, even though it only has 2 temperature settings. I cooked Stroganoff in the bottom pot and then steamed Peas and Carrots in the top tray. Nothing was stuck on, wiped out clean and easy. I tried to scorch the bottom and couldn’t achieve that, so the taste was fine. Only problem I had was that some of my veggies fell through the steamer rack because they were too small. It does have a 3 prong plug so be mindful of that. It’s really easy to use, I just hope it holds up (durability) with as lightweight as it is and the price is almost $50. This would be good for a camper/ trailer or something like that!
