No holes to attach to the trailer, so I had to drill them my self and put in U-bolts to secure. For the money it is a good option. Over all it keeps the tools dry and mostly secure. The Lock does not seem very secure and could probably be broken easily if someone wants to get in to. I keep some basics in there and nothing expensive. (Straps, Chocks, Bungees, Blocks, etc.). It is perfect for these items. It comes in handy when using the trailer. It sits nicely on the tounge and is out of the way. Good value for what you pay for. ... show more

Sturdy so far. Very powerful struts for the lid, feels strong to hold up the lid. I bought four U-bolts to attach this tool box to my utility trailers tongue. Life saver to keep the straps dry and not buried in the back of my truck.

The box is as described. the aluminum is a bit flimsy and, as a result, one of the boxes (I bought 2) doesn't close fully flush. Also I had a real issue getting the key into the latch; the little latch gate didn't want to open with just the pressure from the key. I had to use my pocket knife tip to lift up the latch gate and then insert the key. I healthy dose of WD-40 seems to have alleviated the problem, but I've never had to do that to a brand new latch before. ... show more

The trunk would have been nice if it came with packaging but unfortunately it wasn't able to survive the trip to my house during shipping. Aluminum is a soft metal but has an advantage of being light weight. Plastic is also light weight, and dent resistant to some degree but could crack so that is another option. ... show more
