I have read mostly good reviews of the "budget" Votatu brand and decided to try 1 on a 5.7X28 pistol. I haven't had a chance to run it yet but it seems like a quality optic. It's packaged very nicely with everything you would need to mount to almost any pistol (it even includes a picatinny mount for a non-optics cut but for a picatinny rail mounting option) . The glass is nice and clear, the auto off works like described, and most important to me, - the reticle is pretty clear even with my astigmatism! All 3 reticle options are easy to swap between and the side loading battery is convenient. Only time will tell how it holds up to use and see if it's really a budget optic or a cheap optic.... There is a huge difference between the 2!

recently had the pleasure of using the VOTATU Shake Awake 3 MOA Red Dot, and it has become a fast favorite. Its shake awake functionality is a welcome addition, flawlessly bringing the red dot to life with movement and conserving the battery when not in use. The 3 MOA dot is crisp and bright, maintaining excellent visibility even in sunny conditions. The build quality is solid, giving me confidence during rugged use. Installation was a breeze, and it has held zero with impressive reliability. This red dot sight is a fantastic value for its features and performance.

This is a very nice sight. Right out of the box you can tell it is very well built and the quality is great. Very good price for it too. It has so many options. Very easy to use and it was almost setup perfect just a few clicks and it was right on. It’s bright easy to pick up it’s the perfect size. Fit was spot on. 5 stars all day. Great product!!

Is good quality. Very easy to install. Comes with the plate you need. Comes with an extra battery and tools needed for install. Tried it on my pistol and put it on my shotgun. Love the way it looks. Definitely recommend getting this product. For the money it is very good.

Very nice Red Dot, the sight seems to hold zero well and is durable. I would say very comparable to the “name brand” red dots. Sight has clear visibility, easy to change battery, very bright reticles, and a low profile that makes it nice for every day carry. I am very pleased with this item and look forward to using it for a very long time.

Mounted nicely to a P365XL (RMSc). Sighted in and the dot held zero well. Everything seems to just work as it should so far. I'll update my review once I have some idea of battery life. If these are anything like the PMD504, they should have at least a year battery life. That's my routine anyway, once a year even for my EDC.
