This thing is small, but man it does heat a room good! I bought this to have a heater to point at my wall of tall windows cause if my thermostat says its 70 in my house then it probably feels like its 60 by the wall of windows. Turned this on last night and turned off my house heat that was set on 70, so the base line temp was 70 when i turned off my heat and turned on this heater fan. In like 2 hours i had to turn it off cause it was 76 in my house..... I left my house heat off and just using this as needed. Before i went to bed i put in my room for like an hour and BOOM, nicely heated room for bed. This heater is a good one for sure!

I like the design, but it is much smaller than I excepted. The airflow is better than my other space heater, however the vornado is also louder. The fan speed is nice for getting the heat to you, however I would argue that this little heater is unable to heat up my living room. I put a pillow in front of it and the heater shut off in seconds. The heater really doesn’t get hot to the touch either. Like most heaters, temperature gage is very inconsistent. I would recommend to people with children, as the heater seems very safe. Also, people with the money who like the aesthetic. If you are on a budget, a cheaper heater will do about the same job.

I should have looked more closely, or... maybe they could have designed in some way to grab this thing and pick it up. It's like a big slippery egg; there's nothing to easily use as a handle to move it around with one hand. Not an issue if you never have to move it, of course! And in general, it doesn't seem as hot as I would expect. I guess 1500 watts is 1500 watts, and I haven't carefully compared it; it just seems a little wimpy. Vaguely subjective complaint.

I thought the auto off would be great for houses with pets and young kids, but it's super annoying. It shuts off when the room reaches temperature, which could be after a couple minutes, and you can't turn it back on until it cools. It works okay, but I want someone that will stay on in the bathroom while I get ready in child winter mornings.

Used regularly in cold months and sparsely with the warmer season. Only lasted 5 months. Heating element and burnt out. Purchase with an additional equipment warranty, if at all. I didn’t and am bummed.

I have had many different Vornado products over the last almost 20 years. This one lives up to the reputation for air flow (about the reach of air flow and volume) and the heat component is also good - good level of heat to quickly take the edge off a cold room. The problem that I have with this is the level of noise - it's loud - more than the generic ceramic brick heaters. I chose this one because I have it controlled through a smart plug to have it turn on/off through a schedule and voice-command. I will keep it because of those conveniences but will also keep my electronic Vornado which is whisper quiet (albeit an additional $45). This is still a good fan, unique also because of the nice style, but the noise can be bothersome.

I really like the style of the Vornado products which is the main reason I purchase them. They have always functioned well as a bonus. This heater has a beautiful design that if tipped in any direction immediately shuts off. There is a toggle switch for two voltages which allow for more or less heat. The only down side is; it does not seem possible to adjust the fan speed which can be a bit noisy. Additionally, there is a dial on the back to control the temperature. This heater has a plastic casing which allows it to remain cool to the touch. I literally picked it up moving from one room to another and the casing was not even warm to the touch. Great Heater with Great Style.

So I like vornados fans a alot. I was at my parents house and they had a vornado space heater but a different model and that one actually felt pretty warm for the size of the thing. I thought hey I will buy this one on amazon. Same brand at least.... But wow it gives off like no heat. I turn it to max heat on the dial and high heat setting... and it feels like lukewarm air is being blown at me at best. Doesn't even feel warm. Feels like when you are in the shower and the hot water is running out and you can't quite feel warm. I dont see the point of this. IF anything it makes me feel colder with air blowing at me. Pretty disappointed.
