Description
The Vornado 143 Whole Room Tower Air Circulator offers a more effective way to circulate air with V-Flow Circulation. Uniquely contoured air outlets create a wide span of constant airflow, without the need for oscillation. Typical tower fans oscillate due to limited range of air movement. You feel the airflow for only seconds at a time. With V-Flow Circulation, a high volume of air is continuously moving throughout the room, creating quiet, comfortable Whole Room Circulation. The 143 features a remote control that magnetically cradles at the top of the unit, so the remote is always in reach. 3 Speed settings, selected by push-button controls, allow you to tailor the airflow perfectly for your needs. The 143 Tower Circulator includes a 1, 2, 4, or 8 hour timer ensures you run you operate in an energy- saving, efficient way. Vornado has eliminated the wobbly base found on oscillating tower fans in favor of a solid and sturdy system that stands the test of time. Like all Vornado Whole Room Circulators, the 143 is backed by an industry-leading 5 year warranty. Model is made for 120 volts only. High quality!!
Style: 143 – 29"
While reading some of the reviews yes it is loud on high but it’s a small price to pay for the quality and not as loud as explained. The fan does not oscillate however I’ve learned why and it’s because it literally creates a vortex and you do notice the vortex when using in a bedroom. I rate this product based on my experiences - really happy!!

Vornado stands true behind the guarantee.
Style: 143 – 29"
First off, let me explain how I came across this - I live in central FL where it's hot almost year round. My apartment doesn't have the best insulating. Anyways, I was using " Honeywell HT-900 TurboForce Air Circulator Fan, Black " for quite some time until it started to give out on me. I knew it was time to upgrade to something much more suitable for the size of my room. I came across this after comparisons with other leading brands in "oscillating fans & air circulators" after reading reviews, also watching a youtube review, I felt confident enough to give it a try. Let me tell you! This has got to be the best purchase for my need! The setup was a piece of cake, attached the base and plugged it in. The remote came with its own battery (not sure how long it will last though) I positioned it as recommended by the manual and I instantly felt a huge difference in my room. Drastic coolness. It's a light breeze circulating throughout the room, instantly reducing the temperature and it's not noisy at all. Perfect for sleeping and cooling your room down after a hot day. Highly recommended.

Don't expect to be blown away by this fan -UPDATED-
Style: 173 – 37"
Bought this hoping to have a nice fan to cool the room. Based on previous Vornado products I have had in the past i was expecting more and a bit disappointed with what it is. The description and history of these products I was expecting this thing to more air like no other. I expected that the lowest setting would be more than enough for my bedroom based on description saying this unit would push air 70' away. Yeah well no. I am maybe 10' away and i can barely feel the air. This is not the Vornado products of old. I have it on highest setting and it is not what i was expecting. The whole design of the curved vent to distribute the air a more of 180 degree is both a benefit and curse. It is great for the middle of the room but when you need it to hit a specific spot you are getting just a small portion of that 180 degree hitting it while the rest is dispersed everywhere else. I am not unhappy with the product, just did not live to my expectations based on my history with this brand. High speed is not that high, for sure not 70' away strong Remote needs to be basically 1 foot away for it to work 180 Degree spread is both good and bad based on your needs Easy to assemble, small screw driver is needed for base and even smaller one for remote battery Great for spread, but not so much for targeting specific areas of a room Quality seems to have gone down a bit on build compared to same brand of old UPDATE After having used this for a while I would like to update some things. The fan does blow fairly decently, not to the levels the description makes it seem but enough for any nomral sized living room. On high i can feel the air roughly 15-20" out, med setting up to 10" no issues. At these levels the noise is tolerable and great for white noise to help you sleep, where on low you dont even know the thing is on it is so quiet. I still think it is not as good as the old products and plastic does seem cheaper side of things but would consider this again if the needs are present again.

Moves air
Style: 173 – 37"
Not nearly as good as the advertising claims, but this is still an amazing tower fan if you can throw a few extra dollars at it. When it comes to the sound, its very quiet on low, very tolerable on medium, jet engine on high. I use it on medium almost all day and night in my bedroom and it moves air pretty well. Is it worthy of having a "tornado" synonym name, no probably not, but its a third of the price of a dyson bladeless and works just as well.

Love this fan
Style: 143 – 29"
Spent so much money on fans over the last few years. All kinds- box fans, rotating fans, ceiling fans- weird window fans from china with controls that don't make any sense (no offense, China! I love you, but you know how it goes). The box fans all rusted after a year (salt air on the pacific coast), and only blow in a straight line. These are great when you first get them then they get old and noisy. Rotating fans but we have tall ceilings where the heat just festers- and you are cool for 2 seconds while you melt waiting for the rotation to come back around. Ceiling fans are good- but they are only in certain areas. So basically, I did this multi-year experiment where I threw some money down the drain and was constantly irritated with the cheap products I was mostly buying. And then this. So happy with this- actually moves all the air, all the time- not very loud (compared to what I'm used to). The remote- eh- it's kinda cheap but we won't use that anyway and it wasn't a selling point for us. Just another thing that needs batteries. It does work adequately- about what you would expect- line of sight- not too far away, but it does work. I was convinced by the reviews and so took a chance- spent a little more money and now, this is my brand. I also bought the most powerful Vornado fan for another area- and also was not disappointed at all with that. Great purchase(s)! It's cool air is on me right now, as I write this- had it a couple months now.

Control Circuit Already Bad
Style: 173 – 37"
I am going to reach out to get the warranty going on this unit, but the fan already stops and starts itself automatically through usage due to a capacitor malfunction (if I am reading the tech boards correctly). I'll update after this is settled. Other than this problem the fan was very satisfactory in moving air through the room and providing white noise at night for sleeping. [UPDATE!] Return went well. Except, KEEP THE BOX IT CAME IN! UPS Stores apparently have never seen this size of box and I wound up having to buy a wardrobe box to ship it. New unit arrived and very happy with it. Remote works well. Love the noise to sleep by.
