On the first unit I got, ignition did not work. Asked for a refund or replacement part. Received a new igniter with no instructions. Did some research online and found I would have had to get behind pieces that were welded, making repair nearly impossible. When I relayed this to the seller, I was sent a whole new unit (not sure what to do with the old one?). For the second unit, I bought fire glass locally to use, instead of the extremely dusty lava rocks that came with it, thinking that perhaps the dust had impeded the ignition. It works. Nice design, fairly flimsy metal, lower fire density than pictured and louder gas flow than my old fire pit, but the quality was expected based on the price point.
