I live in NE Ohio and we get a fair amount of snow most years. My gas blower crapped out and frankly I was spending more time trying to get it started than actually running it anyway, so decided to try this battery model. My drive way has a two-car turnaround and is about 6-7 car lengths long, plus I have a curving front walk from the drive to the front door. The first snow we got was a great test - it was a very heavy precipitation that was almost sleet, and was about three inches. I was skeptical to say the least, because even my gas blower would struggle with that type of snowfall. I dropped in the batteries and went to work. It worked great. It was throwing the snow so far, it went over my six foot fence and hit my neighbor's back door (oops), so had to adjust the chute. I did all the driveway and the walk and the batteries were still showing 25% charge when I came inside. It also did the real heavy stuff at the end of the driveway where the plow had gone by. I stalled it twice when I got a little too deep into a snow pile along the edge, but I would also do that with my gas model. The machine is very lightweight, so not sure about durability. The blade is a thicker plastic and will probably do OK long term, but not sure about the bottom piece that drags the driveway. Time will tell. For the price, it's off to a good start. Battery life is great and it gets the job done. And no more pulling, pulling, pulling on a starter cord when it's 20 degrees out.

EXCELLENT!!! Took a chance on a cheap snowblower and was SO happy with the results today!! 8" so far so I cleared the driveway so it's not so deep after this Wisconsin storm. Handled the entire driveway with ease including the dreaded end of the driveway. Still had battery left. Highly recommend. It's lightweight and surprisingly effective.

I have used this blower 2x since receiving it and putting it together last week. Here is my experience, so far. Keeping in mind I am a 5’3”, 150 lb, 66 yr old lady, assembly was easy and fairly straightforward. Probably took me 30 mins. Might have been easier if I had someone to hold things. The first snow was icy and when I went to use the blower, I was kind of disappointed because it was hard to push in spite or maybe because of its light weight. I don’t think it would have done any heavier or slushy snow like we had here last year. Today we had 4 more inches of more of a typical texture snow and I didn’t know what to expect. To my surprise, I was able to clear the drive relatively quickly without even using all of the battery. My drive holds about 4 cars end to end and is two cars wide at the garage, I cleared most of it. That batteries were spent with the icier snow. Charge time is 70 mins The blower does seem to hang up on slight unevenness in the the pavement, so keep that in mind. Overall, I am really, glad I have this. I have a gas Toro but it always seems to need a man to start it the first time every year and none is ever available around here. I don’t think it would do great with more than maybe 6”, so that may be a consideration, too.

Fantastic product. Very easy to put together and small enough to keep in a corner when not in use. So powerful it even chops up little clumps of grass on the sidewalk. Shoots the snow very far away and clears the path very nicely. Would seriously recommend this to people.

The media could not be loaded. Yeah it's a great low budget blower that does its job, but I can't lie to the people and give it a 5. Handle is way too short, I'm 6ft.(video attached; my lady said she thought I was playing with a toy lol) Requires 2 batteries to run ( idk if common knowledge but now I know why they give you a double charger) but it does runs long enough to do double passes over a mid size drive way. Still would want backup batteries though.The knobs vibrate intensely and some screws started undoing itself after 1st run so make sure to keep retightening them or pay attention if you don't want to lose a bolt.

If you have a large property, buy a gas powered one. If you have a small property like me, this is perfect. It goes through several inches of snow with no issue. You can go through a lot without having to recharge the battery. It is incredibly light weight and easy to maneuver.

We got ours by the 3rd snowstorm of the season: 7 inches in one day. Cleared the 1st 3 inches with no problem in under 30 minutes with battery to spare. The next 4 inches were more wet but it still did the job. Its light weight helps this senior move it around and the battery life is very good. I had it assembled in under an hour. It will never be referred to as "heavy-duty" but it's getting the job done for us so far.

This works ok for me. I live in a community where they’ll shove driveways if the snowfall is over 3 inches, so I don’t need some monster snowplow. I just need something that’s ‘doable’ to remove 3” or less. Pro’s: 1) no mixing gas and oil. Electric batteries are great and hold a long charge 2) lightweight 3) good on light and semi dense snow. Cons: 1) auger will shut down if the snow is very dense and gets compacted in the blades. 2) not great for heavy snowfall unless you do multiple plows during the storm 3) not a good as my old Toro gas snowblower. That thing could take down any snow drift and it wasn’t a behemoth. Just your average snowplow 4) probably won’t work well on snow drifts. 5) lacking big power, but enough to get small jobs done.
