I replaced my aging gasoline two stage snowblower with this one because I needed something a little smaller and I needed to get rid of the gasoline and maintenance involved with the gasoline one because my wife can't handle the smell of raw gasoline in the garage. It went together easily and is pretty lightweight. I used it on some three day old, 4 inch deep snow that was also in the process of melting at the edges. It picked it up and blew it pretty well. In the stuff that was still fluffy it threw it around 30 feet! I like that it has a directional chute with a crank handle to change the direction it throws it. It has lights to assist with using it in the dark. It is light enough to carry with one hand and has a handle 9n top to do just that. The only concern I have is how durable it will be. For now I am very happy with it!

I was nervous on going battery (snow / water…don’t mix well with electricity… 😀). My fears GONE!. Product well designed / built. Have used twice and 3/4 today, probably. Cleans better than gas two stage, that never started ever since bought 6 years ago. (Why I bought this snow thrower.) It is light weight, has real solid covers over batteries (spring loaded). Residential home, so run time never been problem. Actually when put batteries back in charger only slight discharge…. Today going to do two cleans on one charge and see how it does, but expect will pass w flying colors.

Makes snow clearing much easier. I just used it for a 3 inch snowfall and it easily handled it, and throws snow far. Batteries last about 40 min, so backup batteries are recommended. I'm not sure how well this would handle more extreme snowfalls. Light, easy to maneuver, and easy to assemble without instructions. Perfect for moderate climates with occasional snow. Might need something stronger for real winter!

Easy to build and use. The battery lasts multiple runs on light snow and it’s pretty powerful on thicker snow. My only complaint is the build quality of the plastic parts because one of the knobs split and broke off. However I am still giving 5 stars because I contacted the company customer service and they sent me multiple replacements right away free of charge.

I bought this because the description said that it could handle an inch or so of snow, the motor burnt out on this despite my best efforts to be gentle with it. I have a 800 ft roughly driveway with a decent parking space and live in northern michigan which gets heavy snow, my strategy was to keep up with the winter and for the random bouts of several ft call a plow service, but this shovel died at over halfway through my winter -- and it is a snow shovel, I think not a snow blower. I looked on the website and it said shovel not blower. Which i wanted a blower. Over all it cost me what having a plow service take care of my stuff....so I guess the value for money was decent. It was very easy to use fot me, as I am a small femine shaped person at 5ft exactly. I am a fit person, but did not find this to be very taxing. The battery lasted me for my whole driveway til toward the end when the motor burned out.

My first blower purchase after extensive research blog and rating reviews. Each snow is different with moisture consistency / fluffy vs. wet. My 3" wet snow was heavy and dense consistency. Voltrex plowed 3.5 two-car driveways + sidewalks on first charge!! Awesome. Recharge 1.50 min on one and 2 hrs on second battery. Don't know why the difference, but acceptable. Quick change chute direction a snap to turn around! All my neighbors were in awe of this workhorse. I seriously can't see it clearing 10" deep and again would have to push it. Remember, you have to PUSH any blower thru the snow. I wish you could turn off the light to save battery, but that's a nit pick. Lightweight to carry & fits thru doorways. Highly recommended Voltrex was least expensive on market. No directions on battery use/charging. I would recommend not leave Lithium battery unattended charging overnight for any electric machine. My wife had so much fun using it, I barely got a chance to use as my wife enjoyed using it -so much fun. No kidding! Upgraded rating 4.5 to 5.

This was delivered last night and upon opening I first plugged in the charger and both batteries were fully charged before I had the unit assembled. Today I used it the first time. I cleared our 25’ sidewalk, our 24x80’ driveway and the 20X20’ turnaround in about 45 minutes. The snow was between 4&6” deep and out at the street there was a bunch of packed ice from the snowplow. I won’t normally use it for that but it did alright. Afterward it took a little over an hour to recharge the batteries. Only problem was with parts. There were supposed to be 4 screws with it- 3 black ones and 1 silver. I only had 2 of the black ones but fortunately I found one in my ‘spare parts’ jar that worked fine.
