It's a great little scooter it's fast, breaks well, folds and locks the handle down others do not the one I bought my son the handle kept swaying out and didn't lock that really bothered him since he rides the bus. Not much room for your big feet so have small feet. Not much room for a phone holder or if you want to put mirrors on it. I phone holder will fit but if you want to add mirrors you have nowhere to put them unless you did what I did and got rid of some of the rubber. The only issue I have with it is the phone app. I will have my phone set to the app and when I get to the corner store the app will not work. It wont lock it or at night turn off the light I have to back out of the app turn off the scooter then turn it back on and reconnect for the app to work again. One time is wouldn't reconnect so I have to leave it outside unlocked and I don't like doing that even if it is locked up. WHen you have the scooter locked or and the menu says P as in Parked and if you try to operate it the lights flash and won't move an inch. Overall I would say it was well worth the money and would recommend it to anyone I know or even you.

This was a great scooter initially. The ride was smooth and it wasn’t especially fast for my son. He saved his money and purchased this himself last January. He is now 10yrs old. It was light weight enough for a 9yr old to maneuver and easy to use. Having purchased the item himself he took care of his scooter. Only riding it around our neighborhood and always storing it properly. I admit I needed to use it one to go a mile down the road to pick up my car and as an adult I could not recommend it for an everyday commuter option. The battery life doesn’t hold charge for long especially long distances and again isn’t very fast. Early December it would power on after a charge but not move when the throttle was pressed. All connections are intact and the error message it provides seems to be an issue with the throttle. I have emailed customer support for Volcam three different times with no response. Per the website that is how to reach customer support. I do not support and can’t recommend a product that the manufacturer doesn’t stand by. Clearly they do not care that it’s cheap and breaks prior to the “manufacturer warranty.” Or they will ghost you until it lapses. Be warned!

Absolutely amazing scooter! My daughter is so happy — she rides it every day and doesn’t want to get off. The LED wheels light up beautifully and make it look really cool, especially in the evening. The pink color and design are very stylish and fun for kids. It feels very stable and safe thanks to the wide base and three-wheel design, which gave me confidence as a parent. The speed is perfect for kids — not too fast, but still exciting. The build quality is solid, and everything feels durable and well-made. Battery life is good and lasts long enough for daily rides. It was also easy to set up right out of the box. Great combination of safety, quality, and fun. Definitely worth it — highly recommend!

Pleased with this scooter as a entry level budget option! I live in a city, bike frequently (as means of transport), and use public transit regularly. I wanted a "last few miles" option to be able to take onto transit, as my bike is a bit too awkward to do so. This is my first scooter and I wanted a budget friendly option to start with, purchasing this on sale. This scooter is quite heavy at ~34 lb, but still fairly easy to carry either folded or upright (grabbed handlebar + deck) and fine to carry 1-2 flights. The handlebars are the most awkward part when carrying but get easier with practice. It feels solidly built and the folding mechanism is solid, firmly clicking in place with a safety lock on the latch. When folded, the locking piece could be better designed as it feels a little weak - and I had to loosen/adjust angle to properly use. Scooter has bright front and rear lights (that also glow brighter on braking) and I like the incorporated turn signals. The app is glitchy and disconnects frequently but gives additional access options and lets you set sensitivity for the throttle and breaks (which stay set to last setting even when not connected to the app). I use it only for managing these extra controls and seeing total milage data, then manage lights/speed level on the scooter (all done by clicking the power button). The scooter rides smoother than I expected given the solid wheels - the shocks definitely help, and it's worth it for my use to not have to worry about popped tires. I'm extra cautious on uneven surfaces, sand, and wet surfaces, but so far been riding without any slippage. On the fastest mode, I find I can get 16/17 miles as my top speed on flat smooth surfaces - less than advertised but also plenty fast for an urban area. I don't think I'd be comfortable going faster especially with these tires. I was impressed that the scooter handled slight hills better than I expected, though haven't done anything excessive (and live in a fairly flat area). I had to adjust the brake sensitivity as I found the default too harsh, but it now works well. So far, the battery has held up well, not needing to be recharged after a few rides, but I'll update my review as I get a better feel for full battery range with typical real-world use. It was well packaged and received in perfect condition. Assembly was easy (you attached the handlebars to the top) and they provided hex keys.

After doing a large amount of research on wattage, brands, and designs I decided to bite the bullet and go with the SP06 version of the Volpam Scooter. Before continuing, my application for this scooter was to take it on our RV camping adventures where the campgrounds could range from smooth paved roads to dirt/gravel trails having a lot of debris or stones so suspension and ride quality was what I am looking for. The SP06 is a no frills entry level 350w scooter that is perfect for the person on a budget. Solid no flat tires are a plus, however the claims of the honeycomb creating a smoother ride are not valid. I am a 200lb rider, my first impression on regular pavement was not enjoyable and you can feel every imperfection and pebble on the road. The vibrations through the scooter themselves, although uncomfortable due to the lack of any suspension, also lead me to believe the reliability could be affected over time due to the shaking. From a power perspective, on a flat grade I was very surprised at how quickly this would get me up to speed even at the 200lb upper limit of the vehicle, however once I approached even the slighted grade (maybe 5%) the power would max out and I would slowly come to a halt. For a lighter person, this may be enough but as most campgrounds have many hills this simply would not be suitable for my application. Overall setup of the scooter was very easy, the packaging seemed very robust and solid which is a plus to protect the scooter during shipping. All items were included and the overall quality was better than expected for the price point. Ultimately as this was not the option for me, I choose to return the unit and opt for the SP01 version (500w, dual suspension). At the time of this review I have received and can confirm the ride quality and hill climbing ability are more than suitable for our camping adventures and I will be writing a review for that model in the coming weeks after our first trip.

I am reporting this product due to major safety concerns. My Volpam scooter developed a structural failure where the metal frame began separating from the deck, making the scooter unstable and unsafe. I weigh 180 lbs, which is within the stated weight limit, so this should never occur under normal use. This is not an isolated issue. Several other customers have reported the same scooter snapping in half, causing injuries and hospital visits. This strongly suggests a recurring manufacturing defect. In addition to the structural hazard, my unit also had multiple critical failures: • The brake assembly fell apart while I was riding, and I had to fix it myself just to be able to stop the scooter. This is an extremely dangerous defect. • The brake light stopped working within the first week • The throttle failed completely and had to be replaced • The battery performs poorly, requiring daily charging even with minimal rides These failures — especially the brake falling apart and the frame separating — raise serious concerns about the scooter’s mechanical and electrical safety. The seller only offered a repair, but the frame is structurally compromised, which cannot be safely repaired unless the entire chassis is replaced. Because this scooter presents a real risk of injury, I am posting this to alert Amazon’s Safety Team. This product should be reviewed due to repeated defects reported by multiple customers.
