Bought this for my 5 year old who doesn’t like speed. I wish it was faster but she likes it so that’s all that matters. And it’s easy to ride. No putting together. Just unfold out the box. We put it on the charger after every use.

Many people giving this a one star review are correct, but maybe not in the way they are describing. I too thought the motor or wall charger was defective on delivery because I was getting a green light on the charger but pressing the red button on the handle did not cause it to go. I then read the instructions and saw that, first, you have to kick off and get going on the scooter, then pressing and holding the red button will engage the motor and you'll take off. I confirmed this by testing it myself on our kitchen floor. However, it took quite a bit of "push off" and my kids lacked the strength and oomph required to get it up to speed fast enough for the electric motor to engage. Even I found it difficult to get it to engage consistently on several attempts. This is compounded by the fact that the wheels are not designed to turn easily and freely when not engaged, so it's already not very easy to get the thing rolling. If the average kid, especially younger ones still getting their bearings with balance (who this seems to be targeted toward), can't get it to easily turn on and go, then it's a practically useless toy and a complete waste of money. The media could not be loaded. The scooter exceeded our expectations. It turned out to be musical. The wheels light up, as do the sides where the child's feet are, and it plays 5 cool songs. I was very surprised and didn't know it was so cool. The seat was the most important thing for us, and it was adjustable in height. I'm giving it 5 stars because this is the only scooter that actually adjusts the seat to any position. I'm very happy and pleased that my 2-year-old son can use it as a 2-in-1 scooter and balance bike. This scooter has swivel wheels, they turn very easily, you don't need to put pressure on them like in other scooters, it's very light and maneuverable, the seat can be removed, you can lift it and ride, it's good that we found this scooter, we bought other scooters with seats and in them the seats did not rise higher, but in this scooter everything is perfect. I ordered this scooter for my Son, and it has exceeded my expectations! The quality is sturdy and well-made, so I feel confident it will last through lots of rides. No assembly required 100% ready when out of box. And the adjustable handlebar means it can grow with the kid. The smooth wheels make it glide effortlessly, and Larger, wider wheels with more durable material makes it even more fun and safe in the evenings. My nephew absolutely loves riding it and asks to take it everywhere. My toddler loves the new scooter I got him! I was a little concerned about if it’ll be safe for my toddler to use. Come to find out, it doesn’t go as fast which I love because my toddler is less than 2 year old. But he is a big boy! It is safe, and easy to operate! I tried it when I opened the box, I am 113lbs and it works great with me on it too, although it doesn’t recommend for people who are over 100lbs on it! But I gotta make sure it is safe for my toddler! If the scooter could come with persona protection equipment like hamlet or knee pads, it would be perfect! But for the price I paid!
