This was easy to install and my wife loves the light. Mine are located in a suboptimal location where the porch blocks the sun until about noon. The worst location lasts about 3 hours. The one in the best position makes it about 6 hours. They are nice and bright until about an hour before the battery dies. I think they'd be great on a fence post, or somewhere that the get more than 5 hours of sunlight. We're still very happy, they're always on when we get home. ... show more

I have 18 of these lights on my fencing and decks look great compact size rechargeable with minimal sun exposure some batteries didn’t last long and I replaced them. The lights can’t handle cold weather and snow falling down from the trees 3 of these lights have been smashed by falling snow. At about $6. Each I can replace them. The sellers are great during shipping one light was damaged with one email they sent me one as replacement and one extra for my troubles. Easy to remove with a quarter turn no tools needed maybe I’ll remove them during the winter months and bring them back in spring. ... show more

Lights work great, they go on at dusk and being an early riser I still see them illuminated when I get up at 4:00am. One thing to note; several reviewers stated they don't fit on 4x4 vinyl posts, which I had also at first disappointingly thought and was about to iniate a return. When I looked closer I noticed an insert in the 4x4 mount, once that was easily removed they fit the vinyl 4x4 post perfectly. As far as durability, time will tell. ... show more

Good product. Battery could be slightly larger, as winter in northern US they don’t last until sun raise; summer is great with shorter nights and more direct sun. Color consistency over time is poor. Roofers broke a couple and replacement lights are more cream vs white. Borderline returned but I have so many I moved these to less visible location around house ... show more

Pretty sure these light helped me sell my $350k home. It was sitting on the market awhile until I installed these lights. Someone saw the house in the evening when they were just coming on. Not only do they light up, but the add a shape and profile to otherwise plain square top posts. One out of about 20 didn't work. And they are thin and cheap.
