First, we chose this bed for our 7 year old son. I wanted something simple. Something that is versatile to diff themes (depending on the theme he what’s for his room), something simple and affordable and something he can grow into as well. My husband and son can sit on this bed, my son and I can sit on this bed with no problems. Pros: -overall easy to assemble. I have twins so I put two together by myself simultaneously in about an 1.25 hours. -it came with all the tools needed -instructions were easy to read and parts were clearly marked -nice space under the bed Cons (but also not a big deal): -one of the pieces was extremely hard to screw into, almost like the threading was too small for the screws provided. I had to use a lot more muscle on that piece. I think it was just a fluke piece because the rest worked perfectly fine -one of the bars also showed the seam/crack down part of the bar. It didn't bother me enough to request a new piece, and I just installed it so it wasn't going to be shown. -My almost two year old daughter can move the bed around. This may be because we have hard would floors but it's lightweight enough for her to move it. (which could be a pro that it's lightweight) -this con I don't particularly love... the mattress can slide right off the frame pretty easily. It would be nice if the bars had some sort of non slip thing on them so my twins can't slide the mattresses off all the time. ... show more

Ordered two of these and absolutely love them. Very easy to put together and look awesome. One of the smaller poles was missing the thread for the screw. I contacted the company and they mailed me a replacement the next day. I was expecting just that one piece and got a whole new bed. I will continue to recommend this bed to anyone I come across looking! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These beds bent within weeks up until now that it split in half. Not durable. Definitely does not hold up-to 450lbs like it says but not like the kids weight that much but under 200lbs (teenage boys). Beds did not last a year but was easy to assemble.

It's a good bed for a toddler to use as long as they don't jump on it. The screws are always coming loose and needing to be tightened, this was a great short-term solution for us on a budget. Now we're switching it out after a year for a bunk bed.

I bought 3 of them. 1 for my 12 y/o son, one for my 5 y/o step son and one for my 14 year old step daughter. Sturdy, easy to assemble, plenty of room underneath to store items. Only thing is with the two older kids, their mattresses slid.
