The product information says must hand wash, which made me nervous that the garment might be flimsy, but it feels really sturdy and well-made and has fared just fine in the washing machine so far. I like the fit, and the pockets, and am very happy with my purchase. Because they aren't 100% cotton, they feel a little warmer than I'm used to, and that they don't breathe quite as well. But they're still shorts and they're still comfortable. The fabric is soft to the touch. I was happy that they also didn't have a "new clothes chemical smell" like a lot of fabrics do. They don't irritate my skin or need to be washed over and over again or soaked in anything to get them to be wearable.

These shorts are wonderful! The leg length is just right for older ladies who want to wear shorts but don't want to show too much leg, falls about 3 inches above the knee. The waistband is at the waist and measures about 1-3/4 inches with a drawstring to allow the waist to be cinched in if necessary. There are two pockets, one on each side just below the waistband. The fabric is a poly/cotton blend, lightweight but not flimsy, they wash well and are colorfast with no shrinkage. Per the attached tag I didn't put them in the clothes dryer but rather let them air dry. No wrinkles and they dried pretty fast. I like shorts a bit larger so I got size medium (I'm 5'6", about 105 lb) and they're long enough from waistband to inseam which is where I have trouble with shorts/pants fitting comfortably. If you like a closer fit, getting your regular size would probably be a better choice. These are quite loose in the leg and look like what used to be called culottes, sort of a cross between shorts and a skirt. I love these shorts and plan on ordering more.

These are the BEST lounging shorts if you don't like to have your thighs stick together at all. They are long enough to protect with out being tight at all. These seem to run about .5 to 1 size small. I'm 5' 5", 200lbs, pear shape and I usually wear an XL in shorts but got these in XXL since they are just for lounging and that was the right choice. An XL would have been tight on my belly even though I am pear shaped (larger bum and legs, smaller waist). So if you have any extra in the tummy, size up and you will be very happy with these. Warning though, these are not super "cute", best you could do is pair them with a crop top to make them a bit more trendy. They are a comfort purchase through and through, getting more immediatly.

These shorts ended up looking really cool. I liked the fit and they worked perfect for my idea. We airbrushed them and they held the color well. They are a bit see through on the butt, but as long as you wear skin tone underwear I don’t think it’s a big deal.
