I got this for my elderly mom who when she is feeling off has slid to the floor when her legs give out. We can't lift her and calling the local rescue was happening to often. this works exactly as described and very sturdy. It's very low to the ground so the person depending on their moblitly should be able to scoot onto it. We used a transfer sheet and a towel to help her do this as her arm strength at 86 isn't what it used to be. We used this 3 times so far and she was amazed how we could get her on her feet to easily. It moves quite slowly and gets the person to a sitting position. It's very sturdy and stable, we moved it on some carpet and it worked really well. The battery charge is excellent. There are cheaper options but we wanted something very sturdy because she is not a lightweight. Well worth the investment for us.

I absolutely Love this! Super easy assembly and It works great, the weels on the back are 360 so it’s super easy to move around especially in small spaces. I also really like how there is a strap in the front that goes around the body when they sit on the chair with side arm rests and handle bars to move around. Storage is super simple, I can fold it in half and easily store it in the closet, along with the arms rest and handle bars that also fold down. The seat is also really soft and breathable so when I get my grandma transferred it’s really soft on her. Super reliable and so grateful for this product. I was worried that it would be flimsy but this thing is solid it doesn’t shake when the chair lifts and the wheels also lock when lifting!

easy to assemble, good quality, gives us peace of mind in case our elderly falls. Very stable and actually hold moves on carpets without an issue. Before this we had a hard time getting our elderly off the floor, hurt my back. Not any more :)

Front wheels do not turn, only back wheels turn. This makes maneuvering the chair, very clumsy and difficult. The seat does not go all the way to the bottom and sit on the floor, this makes it hard to get someone into the chair who cannot maneuver their body very well and is too heavy for you to lift. There is a lock on the two back wheels, however, if you are trying to slide someone onto the seat, the lock does not hold the wheels firm and the chair moves back.Once you get the person in the seat, it raises nicely, although very slowly. Moving, the person in the chair to the place you want to unload them is very hard since the front wheels do not turn at all. The chair probably works well with a person who can still move somewhat, but it is not good with someone with dementia who cannot take directions or understand how you are trying to tell them to move.

The chair arrived when promised. It took about twenty minutes to unbox and put it together. There is very minimal assembly. Just attach the "base feet" (with the two provided screws and hex key) to each side of the chair. So that's 4 total screws and one hex key. The only issue I had was the placement of the screws and the frame of the chair. The frame hampered the hex key, so that for a good portion of the length of the screw, you could only turn the hex key between a quarter and a half turn and had to keep removing it and re-inserting it into the screw. But got it done. It seems VERY sturdy and maneuvers very easily. A plus for me, as the caregiver. The weight limit from the Amazon website and the VOCIC website indicates up to 350 pounds - the included literature with the chair lists 352 pounds...The remote came fully charged but also included is the charging cord. I can't speak to how well it works. The local paramedics are very willing to come and be here in order to test it. I'm concerned that if DH is unable to scoot himself onto the seat when it is lowered to the floor, we'll be in the same predicament as if he had fallen, and there was no chair - 911 would have to be called. And since we have just 30 days to make a return if necessary, I want to know it will work for us before that time is up. I'll update the review after the test is completed.

This lift chair has been a blessing for me. My husband has balance issues which causes falls. I was trying to lift him on my own which was causing back issues for me. We’ve used this several times now and it works with ease. Comes assembled except for wheels, which was pretty simple to add.

Construction- Frame is made of heavy-gauge metal. Its construction and design appear to be sturdy. Assembly- The only real assembly required is to attach the left & right metal bars containing the wheels to the body of the lift chair by means of 2 bolts per each side. There is also the remote cable to plug into the motor cable to operate the lift chair. Charging- Charging is accomplished by detaching the remote cable (which contains the rechargeable battery) from the motor cable and attaching the end of this cable into the power supply. Operation- The seat lowers to about 2 3/4" from the ground. Once the person is securely seated by means of the brake locks, seat belt, and fold down arm rests, the remote is used to elevate the person to the desired height. Going to full height takes longer than may appear from the time-lapsed video, taking 1 min 17 sec to reach full height. Transport- Two of the four wheels swivel, allowing the lift chair to also be used as a transport chair between rooms. If the lift chair is only being used to go from one room to another, movement is relatively easy. However, if you are transporting the device from a vehicle trunk into a house or building, it does take some muscle to carry, as it weighs about 35 lbs.
