I bought this item because I had a fall, more of a semi soft landing. I couldn't get up and my son couldn't lift me. The chair lift came well packaged and there were nor shipping problems. Assembly was easy. Came with four screws and an Allen wrench took a few minutes. Some reviews complained the up and down speed was slow. After lying on the floor for a while, I would have been more than satisfied with the chair lift speed. Comes with a charger to charge the controller. Has wheels front and back and handles, so once you are up you can be rolled to another room.

The most important part of this is its function, and for that it's perfect. The 4 wheels make it able to be rolled from room to room and the battery in the controller makes it useable anywhere. The rear wheels have locks on them and they really work well. When locked this thing didn't budge. It is heavy. The worst part of the entire process of getting it ready was lugging the box into the house. It had no instructions, though, and I had to look at a picture of it assembled in order to figure out the orientation of the parts, which really shouldn't be necessary, especially when there are literally 4 screws to deal with. Due to the heft of the remote I'm assuming that's where the battery is, and the presence of a USB-C on it makes me assume that's how you recharge it, but I've seen no documentation to verify that. It's a medical assist device, and as such it needs to be sturdy and stable, which it is, but I do wish it was a bit easier to store - its smallest form is with the seat down on the ground. Maybe it can be stored on the end of a couch with the legs underneath or something.

My mother-in-law will come and stay with us for a few weeks here and there and she needs a little added support so I'm always looking for a nice items like this that will make my life a little easier! This came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described in the ad. Nothing was missing or damaged from delivery and it was all in great condition! Very impressed with the quality and the craftsmanship. There were no missing pieces or parts and this was very simple and straightforward to assemble it does have a little bit of weight to it but it's not so heavy that a normal person cannot easily maneuver it around wherever they need it to be. Definitely functions as intended and has plenty of power behind it. It lifts as it should and does everything it is supposed to do without a single issue. Definitely a 10 out of 10 great quality product and worth every penny
