These are bright enough to be the only light source on our back deck. I like the 1 foot spacing and having 2 spare bulbs. I also replaced the indoor switch with a dimmer so as be able to set the 'deck mood'. Only time will tell on how reliable they are. Update: bulbs are fragile glass, not plastic! Found 2 broken where the wind had bumped them against a post. Used my 2 spare bulbs. Moved the string away from the posts. Cannot find where to get 2 additional bulbs of same style and intensity. 2nd Update (9-19-23): 3 of the bulbs are out and 4 others vary in brightness. They have a 12 month warranty, but I can't see any obvious way the contact the seller so the warranty can be honored. ... show more

what I liked bulbs are already in. Brightness is great warm white. Seem quality made. What I don't like spacing is farther apart than my other lights. So if you already have lights up. check the spacing. If you don't these are great lights.
