When we finished my basement, my wife encouraged me to go for a TV much larger than we have in our living room. After comparing some 65 in models, I found this TV which seemed like a great deal for the price. We made the right call. the TV looks great and was easy to set up. I'm also glad that the Home screen is fairly customizable and lets you order your app shortcuts so it's easier to get to the apps you use the most that are not accessed straight through the remote (Hulu). I was also kicking myself because I didn't look to see if I could connect through Chromecast from my phone to run my Specturm app and save the $$$ of getting a 2nd cable box, but the TV's Smartcast feature works like a charm and I am able to stream through my Spectrum app. The only minor issue I have is now 2 of the last 3 times using the TV (we go down there only 1-2 times a week now in the summer), is that it was unable to connect to my Wifi network. The first time, I had to go into Network Settings like the error message says and reconnect, but this second time, a full reboot was needed. No big deal, but it was a minor annoyance. 5/5 would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free TV. ... show more

There's a few negative posts about the seller. I bought a 70 inch tv off them just wanted to let people know the negative comments left me with a bad taste in my mouth about buying an expensive tv but it showed up and was in great condition. It came in a samsung box and its not a samsung tv so clearly they take in product that popular stores dont want for whatever reason that are still perfectly fine re package them and sell them for a profit. But im not complaining it gives good deals for people for perfectly good products. Im happy with it. Showed up a day later then Amazon said but I blame that on Amazon more than the seller. Overall good TV. I've had it for little over 4yrs. One day it wouldn't turn on . Stayed off for a few days turned on, on its own & turned off again. Hope that helps someone.

So far, so good. Excellent picture and all the features you would expect. Broadcast TV tuner works well. All local channels are rock-solid. I bought this Vizio TV specifically for the analog stereo audio output. That feature, once common, has all but disappeared from the major manufacturers in recent years. The audio output can be configured as line-level or volume-controlled. I split the output to a headphone jack (general viewing w/volume control) and the stereo receiver and speakers (line level for movies and concert DVDs). Works great! The supplied remote is the bare minimum they can get away with. Yes, it works, BUT... I watch a lot of OTA broadcast TV. The supplied remote does not have a numeric keypad for selecting channels directly. No bueno! Yes, you can select channels with the navigation keys, but it's a very cumbersome process. But not to worry! Vizio has produced several full-feature remotes that will work with this TV. I bought the XRT136 online, and it works perfectly right out of the box. Just be careful not to press the WatchFree key. That will put the TV into a weird state that can only be fixed with a full factory reset. Ask me how I know. I don't use any Smart TV features, so I cannot comment on that. If this TV performs as-is for several years, I will be a happy camper. ... show more

First 3 months worked great after that it started turning on and off while using most of the time making out practically unusable for more then one hour uses can’t get out through one football game with out either freezing or shutting off completely. Don’t buy it, it has a very low picture quality and is a very cheap tv. It’s very light and doesn’t seem to be that hefty of an electronic. The UI only works sometimes and has trouble changing the HDMI which only has 3 slots for it. Barely works with my iPhone and doesn’t seem very compatible with other electronics like speakers or phones and loses connection frequently with other devices. Overall it seems like a very cheap product and for half the price you can get a knockoff in the store that has the same quality, it seems Vizio has cheaped out on there products the past few years I would not recommend getting this tv or any of they’re other products I for one won’t ever buy from the Vizio brand again. This is a great television for the price! Packaged neatly in the box, there is a protective piece of cushioned cardboard taped over the screen, and the tv itself is inside a large bag you use to lift it out of the box safely. Once you attach the legs (or attach it to wall mount), the startup guide is quick and painless. Just connect the television to your WiFi, and the startup guide walks you through everything from registering your device to activate the warranty, to setting up and logging into your streaming apps and more. The sound quality is decent, however I do recommend purchasing a sound bar or other sound system as the TV doesn't have great bass in its speakers, so watching movies can sound a little lacking at first. I bought a sound bar that is able to connect via the Optical chord, or Bluetooth. I decided to connect via bluetooth, and the TV handled that flawlessly. It also works with any blutooth headphones for listening privately if, for instance, someone is sleeping and you'd like to listen without waking them. Picture quality is great, with numerous screen profiles you can choose from, or you can calibrate it yourself to your own specifications. Overall, I'm VERY happy with the product.
