Omg I love it instantly! I just got it today and I love it it's so quiet you wouldn't even know it's on and the top to aim the steam is so handy. I haven't messed with all the functions but this is definitely worth the buy!

*Updated after talking with Vivosun support: System is working well now and holding the humidity it is supposed to be. It seems like the humidity sensor had possibly gotten wet or had to get acclimanted. No issues with it keeping the proper humidity now and I would purchase this product again. Product works well and will pump out a lot of mist in a short period of time. The issue though, as most others are saying, the sensors. Sensors and automatic controls are terrible. Ambient humidity where this is located is around 50%. Set it to automatically keep it at 60% and the thing will never turn on. Set it to 65%, won't turn on. Set it to 70%... it finally turns on. Problem is that the stupid thing then doesn't shut off. Opened my grow tent after a night of this running and it was like a cool mist sauna in there. Separate sensor was reading 82% humidity... Floor and walls of the grown tent were covered in water and it was like a thick fog had taken over the rest of the area in the tent. If you're looking for automatic humidity control for a grow tent, look elsewhere. This unit will not help you. If you're just looking to pump out humidity, then go for it. This item will pump out a lot.

P.O.S. - It popped the face plate seal after using the WARM MIST function w/ timer function for the 1st week of flower.... on 12/12. The heater would not turn off, unplugged it for 24hrs and the heater was still on and would NOT shut off. WASTE OF MONEY and UNSAFE

This Cool & warm mist humidifier is great! It's silent & is to use with its many different options from nightlight, 1-12 hr timer, humidity percent from 40%-95% & can be adjust in 5% increments. Love the fact it holds 4L of water that will last you awhile & the manual even says tap water can be used! Most humidifiers only van be used with distilled or reverse osmosis water so the fact you can use tap water is very convenient. The mist has 3 different stages of mist 1-3. It also displays the actual temp and humidity of the room its in at that time & the fact it has a remote makes it easy to adjust without ever having to get up to do so! Another great product from this Vivosun company. The plus side is the customer service this company has. Very helpful

I purchased this humidifier 3 months ago. Firstly, I have used several other humidifiers in the past, so I am quite familiar with what to expect, and how to clean and care for them properly. Pros: it is rather quiet, and I liked the night mode, which turns off the display and disables beeping noises. Their customer support is great and promptly rectified my issue. Personally, I dislike the fact that you must remove the whole tank to fill upside down, then carefully place back onto the main unit. Now, for the tough part, Cons: - Its quite a process to clean each week (every humidifier should be cleaned often). You need to remove the tank, and unscrew the cap. -The cap got stuck on my several times and took several people, and rubber grips to open. -There are small areas that are hard to reach with anything but a q-tip. The inside of the tank is nearly inaccessible and you can only rinse it very well, you cannot fit a hand or cloth in to wipe it down. -This unit LEAKS no matter what I do. I made sure to follow the instructions, use clean water, clean the unit thoroughly, did all troubleshooting, and ensured the unit was carefully placed back onto the base. I even sat there for several minutes ensuring it was balanced flat and perfectly aligned....and yet it leaked 5 times. The whole tank emptied onto my table & floor. It ruined my wooden table. And I used so many towels to soak up the lake on my floor. Eventually, the tank started making a whirring noise. And now I am scared to ever turn it back on for fear the motor burns up, or that it will flood my floors again! This unit is likely faulty and must not seal properly when re-installing the tank. However, after this experience, I am skeptical and will look elsewhere. I only gave this 3 stars because of the manufacturer's assistance. They apologized for the issue and refunded the item. Into the dumpster, it goes, sadly, and after only 3 months.

I struggle to keep humidity high enough for my seedlings even in a grow tent. I've tried several other Humidifiers only to have the temperature in my grow tent end up way too high and dead plants so we first tested this on a large master bedroom and it held humidity perfectly without raising the temperature and now have it in the grow tent and it is working wonderfully. The temperature is staying a consistent 72 and the humidity 85%. With the large tank I have only had to fill it once a day which is so nice. Very solid product
