    • durable enough for regular operational use.
Style: Bypass Pruner
I bought these primarily for Search and Rescue work, where getting through thick vines, briars, and overgrown vegetation is often necessary to access difficult search areas. These pruning shears have performed exceptionally well in Texas conditions. They cut through thorny vines with ease and handle small branches far better than I expected for a hand pruner. We've used them repeatedly in dense brush, and they've been dropped, thrown in gear bags, exposed to dirt and weather, and generally treated like field equipment instead of garden tools. Despite the abuse, the blades are still sharp and continue to make clean cuts. The build quality feels solid, and they've proven durable enough for regular operational use. If you need a reliable cutting tool for clearing vegetation, trail work, or SAR operations, these shears are an excellent value. ... show more

    • lightweight tool for medium/small cuts
Style: Bypass Pruner
lightweight, easy cuts. best for 3/4 or smaller. Ultimately broke when I put too much pressure on them cutting a larger tree root. use them properly and they are good for the price. I bought another set as they are good to carry while doing other yard work just in case needed.
