After 40 years my old mixer broke so I replaced it with this. It is pretty and works well. I use the whisk for whipping cream but otherwise use the regular beaters. I like that there is a splash guard especially for whipping cream and when my 4-year-old granddaughter helps make cookies as she likes to use the buttons and Idon't have to worry about her putting her hands inside so it is much safer. There is only the one bowl with it and other bowls don't work and sometimes the batter at the bottom of the bowl doesn't thoroughly mix so you do have to stop it and mix it up with a spatula once during the mix. ... show more

This is the best stand mixer I've ever owned! It's lightweight, but the suction cup feet prevent it from walking across the countertop even at high speeds. The beaters go all the way to the bottom of the bowl which is a huge plus for me! I love the splash proof shield with the small opening to add ingredients. The egg separator is also a huge game changer for me - I can now separate eggs with 2 hands! Great for making angel food cakes! I am pleasantly surprised with this stand mixer. I bought this to knead dough for bread. I make 1 to 2 loaves a week and my arthritic hands don't work so good. This little baby has worked wonderful without straining itself, ease of operation is simple and easy cleanup. Only drawback at this time I wish they would provide a medium size bowl for cakes, cookies and other batters. I would purchase again. ... show more

I’ve been using this for several months now and I can at least say it works. I haven’t run into any issues with performance. So, if you’re considering purchasing a cheaper mixer, this is a good one. My only complaint is that the whole thing is made of plastic parts and feels cheap. By that I mean that I feel like if I make one mistake, the plastic parts are likely to break.
