Long time baker but haven't been able to afford the more popular stand mixer in ages. But mixing with a hand held mixer has gotten tougher with my arthritis, so, saw this one and thought I'd give it a try. For the price, it's quite amazing! Makes a breeze in mixing doughs for tamales, bread, cakes and cookies and the quality of the final product has improved dramatically! Very easy to clean too. My only two issues with it are one: you do have to stop it occasionally to mix down your doughs from the sides as it can miss it but for me not that big of a deal and two: I struggle to get the beater attachments off but that seems to be more of me forgetting which way to rotate it off initially, lol! Other than that, I've got to say that I love this machine for it's work capabilities while beautiful to look at to boot! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I finally have the time to try it today, it’s good so far, easy assembly, there was one problem when I was trying to remove the mixing bowl for it was kinda stuck to the base but I managed to get it out, actually the mixing bowl is my main concern in the future, it’s very light and I don’t think it’s stainless steel so I don’t know about the durability, other than that so far so good as a first attempt ... show more

Very good alternative for a kitchenAide very good. This product has a sleek design with a very sturdy base, and the steel bowl is thick enough to not bend while mixing. Very good purchase. But item did stop working after only two uses.

Great value. If you're like me and just want to mix batters and make dough, this is all you will ever need. You can find other mixers with more features, more speeds, etc., but this thing can do everything that I ever did with my mom's old Kitchen-Aid mixer we grew up with. My only complaint is the handle on the mixing-bowl. When first unpacking the unit, I accidentally broke the handle of the mixing bowl right off. I was trying to leverage it to unscrew the base of the bowl from the threads of the base. As long as you are smarter than I, and grab it by the bowl, not the handle, when screwing/unscrewing the bowl, you should be just fine. This thing is made with some plastic parts where the high-end machines use metal, so its quite a bit lighter than a Kitchen-aid, and some of the plastic shell can be seen to be flexing a bit as the motor turns. But the suction is super strong, so the unit never slides away. ... show more

I’ve been using this for several months now and I can at least say it works. I haven’t run into any issues with performance. So, if you’re considering purchasing a cheaper mixer, this is a good one. My only complaint is that the whole thing is made of plastic parts and feels cheap. By that I mean that I feel like if I make one mistake, the plastic parts are likely to break.
