Anytime I read Amazon reviews, I usually see a few people who received broken items, which makes me leery about ordering a product unseen. No different with this 3 in 1 stand mixer. Fortunately, I lucked out and none of the parts were broken. All parts fit where they needed to be with no issues. Test powered the mixer, grinder, and blender and all functioned properly. My first test was making a batch of soda biscuits. This type of recipe would test it's ability to make dough. The only issue I had is once in awhile I needed to scrape a little of the mix from the sides with a spatula. But at its price, I can live with that limitation. Next, I fed the meat grinder with pork shoulder to make ground pork. It muscled its way through the meat chunks with ease, producing a nice even mound of pork you would see in a meat market's display window. And lastly, I made various drinks and smoothies using the blender. The description says it's a "juice/blender," but it's not a true juicer. It's a straight up blender, but I already have a juicer, so I'm satisfied with its three functions. I never owned a stand mixer and was shopping for a handheld electric mixer at the time. Plus my old blender recently broke, so this model gives me the two small appliances I was shopping for. And now my mixing chores are hands free. I know top line stand mixers can be very costly and I'm known for buying high end product, but eventually abandoning it. This model seems like a great starter product for those just getting into stand mixing without the drain on your wallet.

I had gotten tired of mixing things like cookie dough by hand, and my oster food processor died (read my review about that POS and their terrible customer support) I the built in meat grinder was particularly attractive to me. It mixed my cookie dough well but I wish the mixing blades would scrape the sides just a little or at least come closer. The bowl locks into place with no option not to, so I can't simply move the bowl to reach the sides. The construction is plastic body-wise. The hole where the release knob sticks out the front was rough. No mechanical issue, just didn't look as professional as I expect. I love the meat grinder. All the parts are cast metal. My first grinding job was some beef hamburger that didn't want to stick together for patties, so I ran it through the grinder. Not only did it come out finer and more malleable, the drive auger captured a good deal of the fat, turning my 87% ground beef into something closer to 90%. Kind of cool. Next was some chicken and pork ground up for egg rolls. Both came out quite well. Cleaning is pretty easy. There's only a few grinder parts and they separate easily. The splash shield was cracked. Cheap, brittle plastic. So far, I like it quite a bit. Much cheaper than a Kitchen Aid and more functions.

Plastic parts, but works fine. Whisk is metal, works fine. Paddle and hook are plastic. Paddle works fine, haven't used hook yet. Blender is a bit loud, but most are. Grinder works great. Had an issue at first, flipped the blades (duh,lol), made perfectly pre-seasoned burgers and sausage. Not a bad product for the price, but have to wait and see how durable when I put it to heavier work loads.

If you are wanting a Kitchen Aid but can't afford it, this one is great. It has so many features without the big price. It is a little lighter than the name brand but that makes it easier to move. The slow speed is not very slow and the high speeds shake the whole countertop like an earthquake. Makes baking so much easier and consistent.
