The feeder works great, however, when I tried to put the lid on the jar the lid wouldn't fit. It was slightly too small, but it did fit one of my other jars. So it all worked out.

If you need a Boardman feeder for a nuc or hive, these will do the trick. They come with the lid inside. It fit the jar I've been using just fine. It seems to be made to be sturdy and is super easy to use. It's a good value for what it is. I do prefer in hive feeders but occasionally I'll use a Boardman for a nuc.

This has simplified supplementing our hives tremendously. No more bags of sugar water or open containers sitting out. These fit right to the front of the hive, the bees suck up the sugar water, and they are easy to manage and refill without a mess.
