    • Bring a can of Fix-A-Flat when you ride.

this is a great bike for the money. we ordered on December 18th paying $559 US dollars and it arrived a little bit after Christmas. we bought two identical white bicycles. the first one took me about 2 hours to put together using the online video; the second one took about 45 minutes. first off the packaging was very good even though the box was banged up quite a bit. none of the interior items were damaged or scratched. we pulled everything out and we had all parts necessary for both bikes however putting the rear luggage rack on was pretty difficult since it was welded incorrectly and two of the screw holes would not line up, they were about a half inch out of adjustment. upon getting the front wheels in we noticed that both front wheels rubbed slightly against the disc brakes. we had to readjust, that should really not happen. everything else was pretty much straightforward and I would suggest riding with a can of fix a flat with you. my wife laughed about my taking it in the saddle bag that we put on the back until I had a flat on the front tire about a week after using it. it was from a small sticker Burr if you can believe that. a slow leak when I got home and the next morning my tire was flat. this can happen to you 7 or 10 miles out, fix a flat.. keep that in mind. after assembly the bike itself seemed to work quite well. everything functioned as it should and there was more power in the low selection then I would have thought. going up a 70 ft bridge that transverses the intracoastal waterway here in Florida, I only needed medium on the engine speed and actually low might have done the trick as well. after about a week or two of owning the bike, I have never had it in the high position. I'm glad I bought the 500 watt motor and not the 350. we plan on using the bikes on the boat we will be purchasing this summer and this will be getting us around town in foreign ports as well as over to grocery stores for provisions. these bikes will be our main transportation and they appear to be sturdy enough and put together well enough that we can rely on them. seat tensioning was an issue until I got out my socket wrenches and really torque that baby down. no problems yet with the battery or anything else. disc brakes work great. we have gone over 15 miles on One battery charge using both full-time electric motor punctuated with pedal assist. I love this bike I been all over my community with it so far. I agree with some other reviews on here the instructions were not the best . I too have had issues with the air pressure in the tires I had to replace the front tire tube after the 2nd ride and the seat is very uncomfortable for me. Other than that it’s a great bike glad I purchased it. I highly suggest locking it up every time you go out i caught a few people eyeing it when I had it parked it’s a nice looking bike. In general, a cool bike, but I had to turn the pedals myself. The battery did not charge, so there is only the name from the electric one. Therefore, I did not have the opportunity to try everything related to electronics. Also, after being exposed to a downpour, everything was covered with rust the next day, every metal element.     • HEAVY - find videos for the battery charging

This bike is HEAVY. Instructions for assembly is less than ideal. It took about 2 hours after realizing some of the mis-steps. There is no particular instruction for this - other than the Owner's Manual. It has a lot of instructions but not useful for this model: C26. Battery Charging is especially frustrating. the Key has to be in a particular position and for me - I had to charge it for 8 hours initially (4 hours per instruction did not do the trick; and I didn't want it to catch fire :( ) once it is charged up - ONLY after I gave it a go - that the battery's status lights decided to work (one on the handle bar also worked) -- it does have a little wobble from the rear wheel -- HOWEVER, I'm happy about it -- I think this is a sold bike for the money! ... show more

It’s great, quiet, fast, charges easily. But holy shit was assembling it horrible. The instructional video was all but useless, the pamphlet was barren and only slightly less useless. In the end I only assembled it with the help of my friend, my father who knew the inner workings of bikes, and four hours. I ended up with two parts of the bike seat not in use because I have no idea on earth where they’re meant to go and, shocker, no instructions. Here’s my tips 1) turn the bike upside down to insert the front wheel. It needs to slid into an extremely thin, hard to align crevice to work 2) take a photo of the seat before you attach it to the seat post 3) have a helping hand ... show more

Although the directions for assembly and charging aren't the greatest, it wasn't my first time putting a bike together so between the two of us we got it done. My problem was with FedEx who shipped my bike from one coast to the other instead of to Michigan. I was able to track my package every day and noticed it arrived in Indiana in a timely manner. I live on the west side of Michigan and it was only 4 hours away if you drove directly. Then it went to Toledo, then New Jersey, where it sat on the website tracking for 2 days. Even after the bike was delivered FedEx still said it was in New Jersey/ The bike itself is great. A lot of fun but there is a learning curve (this is my first ebike). It's comfortable to ride and does great on the hills, which is what we bought it for. ... show more

Assembly was as expected, the videos were OK. There was no sound, and a few of the details of this bike were not exactly as shown. Even so, few frustrations in the assembly. Seat was the most difficult. The bike is solid and feels well made. The brakes were properly set, the seat & handlebar adjustment was straightforward. Reallly solid bike, and quite heavy. Best thing is the ride. It is a small bike, you sit up kind of strait and high. The e power is very intuitive. Quiet, fast enough, and smooth. Even though it’s heavy, the bike rides pretty well without power. The suspension is soft, which is nice. Exactly what I was looking for. ... show more
