  • Great Lift for Safe and Easy Transfers
Size: Sit to Stand Lift
I’m very happy with the Vive Mobility Sit to Stand Patient Lift. It was easy to assemble and didn’t take much time to get set up, which was a huge plus. This lift works great for transferring and assisting with standing. It makes moving a person much safer and smoother, especially for daily use at home. The biggest benefit is how much it helps reduce strain on your back—it really takes the pressure off caregivers. It feels sturdy, reliable, and well-designed for its purpose. Overall, this has been a very helpful tool for caregiving and has made a noticeable difference in both safety and comfort. ... show more

  • Evaluation of a sit to stand transporter.
Size: Sit to Stand Lift
This machine was a life saver for my husband who was sent home from the hospital not being able to walk or stand on his own. I was the only person here to take care of him, and this gave me the ability to do that. It was a great devise to get him to the bathroom, or put him in his wheelchair, or transport him to the car. This was well worth every dollar I paid for it.My husband was a very large man, 6’5” and 275 lbs and this machine handled him very easily. It was well made and very durable, we used it for about a year with only one issue, a wheel lost its ability to spin freely, and was replaced right way by the manufacture. ... show more

  • Mobility seat to stand
Size: Sit to Stand Lift
I highly recommend this product. For sturdiness, ease of use. Very durable. Works great for getting my husband from bedroom to kitchen etc.

  • Very sturdy
Size: Sit to Stand Lift
This was fairly easy to put together, EXCEPT that it said to assemble the sides all the way up, then add the handle bars! I was strong enough to push them far enough apart to make it happen, but someone weaker would not have been able to do so. It makes more sense to connect the handle bars to the top piece first, then slide that onto the unit. While the assembly was fairly easy, it is not something for the elderly to put together, as the majority of the time I was crawling around on the floor. Also, I was grateful my dad had a ratchet set handy for tightening all the bolts, it would have taken forever using the little tool they provide - but it can be done. It is unfortunate for us, as my mother didn’t have the strength to utilize this more than a couple tries, & has now passed, less than 30 days since we purchased. ... show more

  • Buy this! It will improve quality of life!
Size: Sit to Stand Lift
This has been lifesaving! It’s pretty easy to put together, it’s well made. It provides mobility, safety, and security for my younger brother who suffered a stroke. It’s given him confidence, he’s found ways to incorporate it into his therapy for improving his balance and strength. This lift is amazing. If you need it, BUY THIS! You won’t regret it! It has made life so much easier for my brother and for us. When he came home from inpatient rehab, he couldn’t sit up on his own. This provided mobility for him, but it kept him SAFE while allowing mobility. I’m an RN, and I can’t say enough good about this transfer device! ... show more

  • Bought to facilitate my husband coming home after stroke rehab
Size: Sit to Stand Lift
Overall it is a sturdy piece of equipment. There are a few things that drove me a little crazy and it took me a while to get used to. To be fair, my husband was in an acute rehab for a stroke and was using the $3K one at the hospital. I have a couple of negative points - the wheel locks tend to not stay locked, the front floor leg arms are not adjustable so it makes it hard to get around other items such as wheel chairs and doorways. Finally, the pull rings for the seat to lean on was a total pain to get used to. However, overall it is a sturdy piece of equipment at a fraction of the cost of the expensive ones, it serves its purpose well once you get used to it. I also learned to pull the pins early to be ready if he was having trouble standing. It is nicely made and will last a long time. I am not unhappy with the purchase at all. Thank you for a nicely made and an affordable alternative product. ... show more

  • Some issues but ok for the price. Modifications helped.
Size: Sit to Stand Lift
Been using for 6 months, every day. It was necessary after husband broke his leg and then went through cancer treatment and another injury which left him unable to stand or walk very well. Heres the scoop. The good: Went together easily enough, by looking at the box. Goes through all of our doorways. Pretty easy to push/pull even on low pile carpet. The Bad: Knee pads were way too low for my 5' 11, 230# husband. Drilled new holes and moved them up. The seat locking rings were removed immediately, useless had to use a pair of pliers to pull them. The welded tabs that hold the seat pads up broke off one right after the other in about 3 months. Replaced those with short bolts. Does not fit under recliners. Barely fits under wheelchair, as long as front wheels are turned just right. Front castors are flimsy, both are beginning to lean, I've tightened them numerous times. Will need to find replacement castors soon. ... show more

  • Works Great!
Size: Sit to Stand Lift
This is a life saver! I bought this to transfer my 99-year-old Dad from his recliner to the bathroom and back. He had fallen several times when we were using his wheelchair because he couldn't pick his feet up and sit in the recliner. This works great in the transfer. The assembly was a challenge because once you slide the rails together, there is NO pulling apart to align the holes to insert the bolts. It has operated just fine without the bolts in the main rails. I do have to retighten some the screws in the handle from time to time but still love this mover! ... show more
