TLDR Version for My Fellow ADHDers: Very lovely, shade is a bit cheap, easy to install, battery life not good for daily usage. I looked for weeks before finally deciding on these sconces. There were no outlets where I wanted sconces and even though my FIL is an electrician, I thought these would probably be easier, cheaper, and let's face it - I'm not very patient and didn't want to wait. They were nicely packaged and everything arrived in good shape. I was surprised (and tad disappointed) that the shades were constructed as they are, but I've gotten over it since. They come rolled up and you have to wrap them around the metal top and bottom frame, clip them to them, then Velcro to close. They'd be classier if they were traditional shades, but like I said - I've gotten used to it. They were relatively easy to install - measured, marked, drilled, anchored, screwed in. There is a little wiggle room to get them even, so that was nice. Even though they're not meant to be connected to electricity the light bulbs have traditional bulb threading and the sockets also have the traditional threading. The reason that I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the light bulb battery situation. I'll say that part of it was my fault because I didn't read into the battery life or charging requirements, but even so - it just doesn't last long enough. I think the info reads that it will give you 12-30 hours and we're barely catching 12 hours and that's at 50% brightness. When you factor in that it takes several hours to fully charge the lightbulbs (using USB-C), you're spending a lot of time charging and changing light bulbs if you want to use them daily or even just every other day. (Also, I'm short and my husband is the only one that can reach the bulbs from the floor because you have to remove them from the top side of the shade due to the size of the bulb). I'll be looking into replacing the bulbs with something that lasts longer. ... show more

Overall lamp part is fine but the sconce shade comes flat at you assemble the little hooks, which would be great except the shade fabric is translucent and you can see all the hooks and makes it look cheap. For the price they are not worth it by the time I buy new shades.

Easy to install and looks good, but both lights stopped working within 2 days and won't charge so plan on using replacements. One shade came dented, not horrible but noticeable. Edit: Seller was great getting issues fixed. Very quick response and made it right.
