Happy with it can’t say it is the most sturdy but our son is only 35 pounds and I haven’t been afraid of him breaking it but if I would use it as an adult, I feel like overtime it could break pretty easily if I would fall on it too hard

This is a simple bed frame that comes in parts that all fit in reasonably-sized box. That is, the long pieces of the frame are int two parts. Will it last? That is the question that crossed my mind as I assembled it. However, the person who will use this bed weighs less than the weight limit for it, and there won't be any jumping on it. I think it may last. The instructions are very clear, but you must read them closely. So far, it's fine. I do recommend if you want to a very reasonably priced bed frame. I purchased two of these - They are pretty and sturdy, but the instructions are complicated/useless, and it took forever for me to put the first one together. The second went quicker, but still was a tedious and time consuming process. The end result was worth the time spent, but I wouldn’t recommend teaming with a loved one to put this together unless you have a strong relationship. ... show more

This is not a Swedish-engineered bed. You will not find the kind of precision construction you may be used to, if you’ve ever shopped at that giant blue and yellow euro-furniture mart. It is fine as a twin bed. I needed something quick and easy for a sudden houseguest, and it suffices. I would be very concerned about its structural soundness in larger sizes, however. On mine, there was one screw that could not be tightened flush without cracking the wood, one slat runner / supports that was really warped in two directions, and a few pieces that did not line up as they should. This all adds up to less than super sturdy. Did I want to disassemble the whole thing, take it to UPS, and wait for another that would probably hve similar issues? No I did not. My guest is so far sleeping okay on it. I told her no jumping. I’ll update this review if it collapses. Note: it comes with allen wrenches (you need both), but there are a whole bunch of wood screws that do not have pilot holes. Get yourself an electric drill. ... show more
