My muscle knots have gotten significantly smaller within a few days. I purchased this to hold me over between professional massages to save money, and I was surprised by how well it’s been working! I use it every day on my neck and back when I’m sitting down relaxing. Very nice product.

This thing is quite good for the price. I typically use a hard foam roller to stretch out my middle back pain. I have had pain in the same area for over 20 years. Last week, I tried to move some wood loading ramps early in the morning and all of sudden felt like I could not even stand up. It almost felt like something broke in my back. This has acutally happened before in the past, but only a few times over 20 years. Usually it is just a muscle strain which is painful at first, then sore for a couple weeks to a couple months at most. I ordered this back massager the morning after this latest injury and it was delivered within a couple hours. The foam roller was just too painful and would not provide the little cracks and immediate relief it typically does. This massager provided such intense feelings of relief and got into deep tissue that I literally felt what you could describe as euphoria. The problem is it felt so good that I really leaned my weight onto the unit so much that the balls would barely move and I seem to have bruised my back around my spine quite a bit. Now I can only use this massager very lightly until the bruise heals up. The heating feature is not all that warm, but I did feel it. Being a long time sufferer of back pain, I try a little of everything. This massager should really help provide some immediate temporary relief. But to those suffering, I will relate that the absolute best help was strengthening my core by situps, pullups, pushups etc and the corresponding weight loss. I did not have any back pain for years when I could do sets of 10-15 pullups at a time, but I got lazy and now I am suffering again. I have a tens unit. It works great, but it is too hard to get the pads on my back by myself. I have the heating pads and the ice pads. I have the foam rollers with and without knubs. I have a bosu ball. I have the icy hot, the tiger balm, the biofreeze. I have a hot tub with all kinds of jets and 5 different seating positions. This massager is a very welcome addition. I bought an accupressure mat at the same time, about which I was very skeptical in comparison to a shiatsu heated massager. But I am using the accupressure mat in conjunction with the shiatsu massager and light stretching and got back to work after only a couple days with only annoying stiffness, discomfort and soreness instead of intolerable pain and immobility. ... show more

You can adjust the pressure by leaning more on to it. It provides heat to help loosen up the muscles. Really good! The "knobs" spins and massages nice and deep. Husband really appreciate it.

This is the best thing i could ever give myself for my frequent back pains. Usually I would be taking pain meds or topical creams for relief but a few minutes with this and I feel much better. Now I can sleep better not being uncomfortable or bothered by the pain. I simply turn it on, rest on it for a few minutes and then I’m good. Back pains can be one of the most uncomfortable aches ever experienced and this helps. It’s easy to use. The button use is practical and easy to navigate even in the dark. The heating function is a special touch. I have not used it often but it does warm you up for sure (not burn). The other thing that I like is the auto-shut off. It sguts off after a couple of minutes (haven’t read the manual or timed it). This is useful for persons like me who use it to help ease the pain while sleeping. The nodes or the bumps are very thick and study, so it really digs into your body when in use. Some may find it uncomfortable but for me, it really helps get into the knotted muscles. I got this back massager for my husband he really enjoyed it but after about two hours the massage ball stopped circulating. Another review said this happened. So we’re gonna wait 30 minutes for it to cool down then give it another try.
