I have a medium length beard. Keep it pretty well trimmed/groomed etc. not sure what I was expecting g but this devise doesn’t do anything more than a fine tooth hair comb for me. I have a really long beard and I need bread straightener to get hotter to comb thru my beard. Don’t get me wrong it get hot but once I start combing it loses it heat and I have to let it get hot again. Overall it gets the job done
