The walnut finish on the genuine solid wooden legs is very nice, and not too dark. I like how it went together easily. I LOVE that the company provided extra screws! (I have had way too many items arrive with screws missing which is so frustrating, but not this item!) the cover fits well and is a nice neutral tan/almond off-white shade that goes with most anything. It’s a little rough-feeling fabric though, and higher than other stools which I think is more comfortable to rest one’s feet on, or even briefly sit on, but the drawback is my senior chihuahua dog can’t jump onto it as a way to get up on the sofa. So I need to lift her. Oh well, I’ll still keep it for my own use!

This is a very nice little stool. It was very easy to put together and is quite sturdy. The top portion is a bit concave so you can rest your feet and calves nicely on top. The color of top is cushion is also a nice, stylish neutral color. Finally, the high is just right for our needs.

I needed something to set beside my chair to hold the newspaper and things before I read them. I wish I gotten a darker color though the beige one picks up dirt but it’s it’s easy to clean.

I just received delivery and assembled this little stool in a brief amount of time. There's no need to test this product over time, before reviewing, because the craftsmanship and materials that go into it are top-notch! They even included extra hardware, I guess in the event the build goes awry - but with the simple assembly, I don't know how that would happen. Based on the stool I received, I'd say this company is serious about turning out a great product for a decent price. I'm very glad I bought this. Besides being handy when I need a step stool, this will function as a small hassock to go with a small accent chair that I just ordered. I was hoping the quality and style would match the chair and it certainly does.
