I was particularly looking for the 1T SSD hard drive which makes the machine fast with plenty of storage for programs and data. It recognizes all of my HP printers and has everything I need for my business. It does not have the camera necessary for Windows 10 facial recognition sign on, but it does have a camera and can do everything else. UPDATE: I purchased this laptop in May. The rose gold color is beautiful and the laptop worked like a charm. After 4 months, I can not get it to turn on; just blinks on and off of the welcome screen. There were no spills, no drops, nothing like that. I teleworked all day, shut it down, and it never came back on. Since I also purchased the Assurion for $189.00, I contacted the seller and was informed I had to send it to HP. HP contacted me today informing me that the installed hard drive is not an HP hard drive and will cost $476.00 to repair! So with that said, my understanding is that the outside is HP and the inside is not! I am now struggling with the seller who has offered to fix it and I can only guess to install another non-HP hard drive which is unacceptable. I am on telework due to the pandemic and had to immediately buy another computer to be able to continue to telework and not be in trouble for lack of response to my employer. It turns on fast, and works great, I use it with photoshop also and the extra storage is a plus and never bogs down at all with such a complex program. Great PC for quality sound, picture. and responsiveness. Very easy to set up and get running. My one dislike is that the RJ45 ethernet receptacle has a little tab that needs to be pushed down in order to plug in the lan cable. A call to the HP help desk was fruitless since they only referred me to the user doc which did not provide any guidance. Once I pulled down the tab, the cable plugged in easily. I purchased this computer in Sept and it powered up just fine the first time. Next time I tried to turn it on, nothing. Have not been able to get it to start since! It was suggested that you should remove and reinsert the battery but I can't seem to find how that's possible. Return window is closed so now I have an expensive paperweight on my hands. I suggest you buy a better laptop than this! ... show more

Within eight months of purchase, the right bottom of the computer broke where the dvd drive is with no mishandling and on a hard surface immobile. Some months later, it broke on the right side where one of ports is, where the charger goes. The charger being inserted at all times is the only thing that is keeping the things insides from showing. I had to put the charger in to keep it together to keep the insides in. Yes I have a warranty has expired. But I want my money back I spent on this junk. But I know that's not going to happen. And the camera stopped working within a year. It comes on but shows no screen just black screen. The computer works otherwise. But, I'll still have to buy another one.
