    • Night vision stopped working
Night vision stopped working after a few months. Battery life is not great. Tried contacting Amazon and the seller and both are being impossible to get a replacement. Edit: seller sent a new one for free and the new one has been working well.

I have the owlet monitor and sock which is absolutely great quality and gives peace of mind once baby was home from hospital. With that being said it also has its faults as I have tried to connect to other Wi-Fi’s and had no luck. This is why I purchased this monitor; affordable and no Wi-Fi needed!! I must say I am obsessed with it, so easy to set up and I love that the camera can tilt up and down (another thing owlet can’t do) the picture and sound are great. Night vision is okay, i hate having the volume on even on the lowest setting because of the sound it gives off, it's annoying. Doesn't have a long battery life, basically have to have it plugged in all the time. When you unplug it to bring it somewhere else in the house the screen doesn't even stay on and to look at the screen to check on the baby you have to hit the button for the screen to momentarily turn on. Screen only stays on being plugged in. Picture quality is okay, not great, but not bad. I feel like this is too expensive for what this is. ... show more

I love this monitor because I was looking for something small that I can clip to me and carry around the house with me. I was also looking for something non Wi-Fi so this is perfect for me!

    • Battery life is ridiculous don’t waste the $
The first thing that happened was the tab on battery cover broke. Then after being fully charged, it is totally dead within 40 minutes. It’s too bad because the picture is very good. But the battery needs some serious improvement. Update: one day too late to return, quit working altogether.

I wasn't expecting much for the price and it being a super basic camera, but it's actually pretty great. The picture is clear, the volume is clear, it's super simple to use. I absolutely recommend this camera. :)
