I ordered a dust ruffle separately to use with this “bedspread.” It was needed because it fits the bed more as a comforter would. If I ordered this again, I would buy one size up. However, this bedspread has withstood the assisted living laundry. It has not shrunk. The colors remain bright and beautiful. I chose it for my 91 year old grandmother not only for the colors and pattern, but also because it is breatheable 100% cotton and because it is not a heavy weight blanket for her to pull. For this colder weather, I paired it with the pink EXQ Home Fleece Blanket twin size, and it fit and matched the bedspread beautifully. My grandmother loves her bedspread and is proud to tell everyone about it. I would definitely recommended this product. It makes a lovely gift as well.

I got this for my mom to replace the ugly comforter in her nursing home room. I paired it with floral sheers, making her room less like a hospital room. It's light weight and not bulky, making it easy to tuck in between the railing and mattress on her hospital bed. Her room is kind of small, so the pretty flowers brighten up the room without over doing it, like some of the other busier quilts. She was so exited that she had to show it off, now everyone in the home wants one.

This Bed set is honestly HEAVENLY. It took me forever and a half to find a set for my toddler (although I want to use it for myself, haha) and I am loving the quality, print and colors. I am a very particular person, if I spend money on something I want it to be an accurate description and will actually LAST. I was not disappointed! It's exactly as pictured in the photo and every time I have a visitor and they pass by my daughters room they are instantly drawn in by this set and comment positively on it. I dislike little kid type bedding and am SO happy I took a chance on this set. I will be buying one for myself as well!! Thank you times a million!

Well, I am very picky about quilts, however, I must say this is the BEST QUILT that I ever purchased. Let me tell you why: PROS: 1) Beauty of the design - Even though this is a kind of bold floral design, it is not too bold, in fact the print is JUST RIGHT as the colors of the flowers are soft and very comforting. This design gives my bedroom that COZY COTTAGE look. 2) Length/Fit On My QUEEN BED - This quilt is very generous in size and plenty large enough for my bed. In fact, the sides go down to just the center of my bed's dust-ruffle and it is fits more like a QUEEN quilt, yet almost as large as a KING. Glad I did not buy the KING. (If you are buying this for a FULL BED, it may fit more like a regular bedspread and less like a QUILT/COVERLET). 3) Appearance On My Queen Bed: With this lovely Laura Ashley Quilt and two matching shams on my bed, it really stands out. Since my walls are kind of a blah beige, this quilt set really brings new life into my bedroom. 4) Overall Quality - Stitching is even, the material is a cotton blend, yet it has (because of the sizing) a kind of a stiff feel, which is good as it will hold up with many machine washings and drying cycle. (Note: This is machine washable and dry-able, what a plus). 5) Weight and Feel of Quilt - For me, I like a quilt to be of medium weight so I can use it most of the year. In my opinion, this quilt is of medium weight, which is perfect for me even in the summer with my A/C running as I like a cover over me year round. *Because the material is kind of thick, it will hold up for a long time. *This quilt I highly recommend, it is a BEST BUY. In fact, I just placed a couple more Laura Ashley Quilts on my Wish List to treat myself later on...

I have owned this quilt for over 6 years and still love it! The colors are bright and beautiful in person. It isn't as overwhelmingly pink as I worried it might be which is great. It is super soft and gorgeous on both sides. It has held up great with no tears or real signs of wearing out anytime soon. I have always been able to fit it into my washer and dryer at home. It has faded a little over time with washing and use, but that is to be expected. I would definitely recommend this to anyone! I am going to keep it for as long as possible!

Another beautiful winner from Laura Ashley. I love the pink flowers and hints of green and lavender. The quilt is very well made and fits my queen bed perfectly. I bought a pink, green, and lavender 12"x12" accent pillows as well as some white euro shams and they complete the gorgeous look on my new white sleigh bed. Update: I did buy the matching Euro shams from another site as Amazon didn't seem to carry them and I like them much better than the white ones I had purchased. I washed the comforter for the first time (I always keep a blanket on the bed since my dog likes to lay on the bed when it's made) and like my other LA quilt comforter, it shrunk and now it just barely covers the mattress (I have a 10" Tempurpedic with a 3" pillowtop) Each morning when I make up my bed, I try to stretch out the fibers to make it hang a bit lower. All in all, I still love it, I just wished it didn't shrink but I think it's the nature of the quilt and not the quality of the item.

We use this bedspread or comforter to sleep under along with a flannel sheet, a light blanket and then the comforter on top. It is the perfect warmth and thickness. It does not move around on the bed, is not too cold or too hot, and really looks good in our bedroom which has a floral wallpaper. It is just so perfect comfort-wise. Best purchase we have made in ages. Love it!

We gave this to my mother for Christmas--she is 100 years old and LOVES pink. Very nice quality. I am not a pink fan but this is very pretty and looks nice on her bed. It really brightened up her room at assisted living--and she loves it!
