The quality of this cam and monitor is astonishingly excellent. I'm using this to monitor the front of the house from inside the garage, and while the instructions say the night vision is about 6 feet, it is actually 75feet if there is a street light. (Details aren't as clear at 75 feet, but you can see if someone is there.) Also, the ease of setup; you just take it out of the box, plug in the camera adapter to an outlet, turn on the monitor switch, and it works immediately. It has a zoom button that is a 2x zoom, which is great for close up monitoring. The clarity and resolution look great, and the colors are nice and bright. I really wish I had seen this long ago (but maybe it wasn't available), since a security system I got then ($204,) did not last and (replacement) cameras for that overheated very easily, and were no longer available). This gets the job done for what I need. It has two way sound, so when you hear something, you can just glance at the monitor and see what's going on and deal with it if needed. The monitor can go really far and still have connection to the camera. I love how quiet the camera can move as well, so great for a sleeping baby. No WiFi connection means higher safety as well. You can change brightness, zoom, sound level, and move the camera from the monitor very easily. Huge span of camera angle and pan. Talking through the monitor out from the camera speaker is quiet, but I never need it. I have been using over a year and still works great. You can even click the monitor into a black sleep screen mode but any sound still comes out if you keep it by your bedside at night. ** update ** The battery life was just put to the test! I monitored my baby for a few hours after she went to sleep for the night, and when I went to bed (her crib is in my room), I forgot to turn it off! The monitor was fully charged when I first turned it on last night and was still on this morning, 11 hours later. Safe to say the battery life is great - no telling how long it would last with the video featured turned off and just sound on! The video quality is pretty nice for the price you pay for this monitor. We have a fairly small home, so I can’t speak on the range, but I’ve never had issues with the connectivity even when going outside. It has some great and simple features like sound adjustment, two way voice speaking, and temperature feature. We don’t use the alarm or lullaby function, but it might be useful for some! I like the option of adding additional cameras, which seems really beneficial for setting up in the play area and bedroom etc. Being able to move the camera remotely is great, so you can get the perfect view no matter where you place or mount it. We have had no issues with the camera coming lose from the mount and the battery life seems to be pretty good. We only use it for maybe a few hours each night before we head to bed, since she’s in the same room as us, and I only have to charge it every couple of days. But the charger cord is plenty long to reach wherever you need if we needed it connected long term. The sound quality is really good too! It works well . I would give it a five star if the night vision would be better. It’s a little hard to see at nighttime , that’s when it’s needed mostly. This baby monitor has been an excellent purchase. The video quality is clear, both during the day and at night, and it gives us great peace of mind knowing we can always keep an eye on our baby. For this baby monitor to be so fairly priced, it really does get the job done! The camera spins all the way around from using the button on the monitor screen to move it. I love that feature. Some monitors are limited on moving the camera side to side, and up and down. This one has full range! I am impressed with the size of the screen for the monitor. It is very large! The 3rd image I posted shows my hand spread open, and holding the monitor. Very large monitor view! The camera and monitor have pretty long cords for plug-in, which I love. It also comes with a user friendly mount to mount to the wall. I use a high shelf for mine, but still love the idea of the mount. I think the quality of the image is good for the price, and the speaker works great! You do not need Wi-Fi or an app to work this monitor. All you do it plus both in, and it’s ready to go!! Image 2 shows the camera quality with the lights on in my sons room, and image 4 shows the quality with the lights off. I do have this camera high up, and across the room from my sons bed on a shelf, and this is as far out as you can zoom, but because the camera has full range to move anywhere, I don’t see that as an issue. Overall I think this is a great product for watching your little ones at any age and such a great price!!! ... show more

These montiors work great for a year and some change! But nearing 1.5 years of regular use, both us and our friends who use the same system have been having issues with the monitors dying. The monitor/camera used occasionally at the grandparents is still going strong. The cameras themselves seem fine. Zoom and pic quality has maintained. Connection between camera and monitor has been maintained making it easy to monitor baby whenever. Overall, I’d still say they’re decent for the price. But if you’re going to be using them a lot, you may want something a bit more durable! We will likely be investing in a different monitor system for future baby. ... show more
