    • Difficult to Assemble, and Comes in 4 Boxes

While I like the look of this set and it seems sturdy I do feel it is worth warning potential buyers of a couple of its drawbacks. First is that this item ships in four boxes. Given its size that alone isn't an issue, what is is that the listing doesn't make mention from it from what I can see. When it was delivered we only received two boxes. Upon opening them we quickly realized that we had only the table, its glass, and the cushions. Amazon's status stated delivered. On the box there was no (1 of 4, 4 of 4). Instead after searching over the boxes trying to find out if there was any indication of how many boxes to expect we finally noticed that one had the product number followed by an A, and the other had a product number followed by a D. Very easy to miss. I wrote the seller to see how many boxes to expect and to see if I could get the tracking number. Boxes B and C arrived the next day, so finally we had all parts and pieces, and could start assembling this thing. This is where I really give the product four stars instead of five. This is not easy to assemble. The holes don't want to line up quite right. Preassure has to be applied in various places and a degree of gymnastics performed to get the bolts through the holes and to get it started. I strongly recommend you get all the bolts in and just started before you tighten them down, and then do that in stages and incrementally until you have them all snug. Once you accomplish that it seems very sturdy and well built (except for the feet protectors. I'm not entirely sure those are going to stand up very long and expect I will have to find an alternative to replace them in a year or so, but we'll see. I'll try to remember to update this review either way. It also looks very nice. I will confess, thus far we have only assembled four of the eight chairs. We decided we needed a bit of a break after the task it was to assemble the first four chairs. I know the other four will be the same. I don't expect any surprises from the table, but I will update this review if there are surprises or other complaints when we assemble the table. ... show more

Actually the set wouldn’t be so hard to put together if the holes lined up. Out of 6 chairs I have 4 usable ones and none of the legs are even. Going to reach out to amazon hopefully it can be fixed. Your best bet is to go to Home Depot or Lowe’s and get a set of patio furniture that is already built. I wasn’t looking for top quality but my patio is covered so I figured this set would be fine. It’s been a real pain in the ass. Stay far far away. Won’t send two chairs unless I send back the defective ones which wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t need a hacksaw to cut the bolts off to make it small enough to ship. They have been sent numerous photos of defects and they want part numbers that were never included in the shipment. I sent them a picture of the one sheet of paper that came in the box and that’s not good enough. ... show more
