  • Beautiful Sound, Modern Features, Worth It
Color: Black Style: Contemporary
I recently got the Victrola Wave Bluetooth Turntable, and I have to say, I’m really enjoying it. I still have some of my old 33 and 45 RPM records, and it’s been great to hear them with modern technology. The speed is accurate and steady, with no noticeable fluctuations, which makes listening to my records a real pleasure. I love that it has Bluetooth, so I can stream to my headphones or speakers, and the Auracast feature is really cool for sending music to multiple devices at once. The Audio-Technica AT-VM95E cartridge is a nice touch—it gives the records clear, balanced sound without distortion. I also appreciate the adjustable tonearm and removable headshell, which makes setup easy and gives me flexibility for upgrades. Switching between 33 1/3 and 45 RPMs is simple, and the auto-stop feature is convenient—it starts spinning when I lower the needle and stops when the record ends. Setup required a little bit of work—I had to attach the belt, set up the counterweight, and remove the cartridge cover—but the instructions were clear, and it didn’t take long. I paired it to my Bluetooth speakers without any issues, and the sound quality is excellent, especially through headphones. The turntable itself is heavy, sturdy, and vibration-resistant, so it feels solid and reliable. The one downside is the price—it’s definitely on the higher side. But for me, the combination of sound quality, Bluetooth/Auracast streaming, and solid build makes it worth it. It’s a nice mix of modern convenience and classic vinyl listening, and I’m really happy to have it in my home. ... show more

  • Good build quality and sound
Color: Black Style: Contemporary
This is my first record player and I got this one mainly for the sake of bluetooth capability. The instructions were spot on in providing assembly directions. I do like the quality of sound through bluetooth--it is better than I had expected. I was able to test this on Audio Pro C10 speakers via bluetooth mode and wired mode and the sound quality is very similar. I did have to use the ground loop in order to reduce static noise. On to my next experiment, I used JBL Partybox and this is where the record player saw the light. The sound quality is really good. I had people over for a party and they had no idea I was playing a record and were surprised by the sound quality. I did run into some trouble connecting this speaker via bluetooth. On my first attempt I spent around 30 minutes but it just would not connect. I turned off the record player and the speaker came back an hour later and it connected right away. After it connected there has been no issue with this device. I wanted to experience the beauty of Auracast and play across multiple bluetooth speakers but could not figure out yet. Overall, a good experience trying my first record player with bluetooth speakers. ... show more

  • Sleek record player. needs better speakers.
Color: Black Style: Contemporary
This is a good looking record player. I appreciate its ability to connect to Bluetooth, but I wish it sounded better. It does not sound crisp. As such clarity is not the best. But for the price, it is well worth it.

  • Easy To Use & Amazing Quality
Color: Black Style: Contemporary
Pulled out the old records with my dad and we had this thing up and running in no time. Everything sounded like it should - clean, warm, no weird hums or skips. I like that it’s “future proof” too, being able to stream and still keep the vinyl feel, so I don’t feel stuck with just one setup. Super easy to use once you dial it in. Definitely feels well made with enough weight to not feel like it'll slide. Honestly made the whole thing feel like picking up an old tradition again and I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Works Well, Sounds Great, Not Worth The $
Color: Black Style: Contemporary
I'm a huge fan of all kinds of music, but I am no audiophile, and I haven't owned a record player since I was a kid. So this is going to be a relatively brief and novice analysis. First of all, I'm so used to electronics being ready to go out of the box, but I didn't expect to have to put parts together. Fortunately, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, so the belt, the needle, the counterweight, and the cover were a piece of cake to attach. So I'm only going to address the three biggest things: Does it work correctly, does it sound good, and if I paid regular price for it, would it be worth it? The answers are yes, yes, and no. From doing a little bit of research, I know that sometimes turntables can go a little too fast, a little too slow, or spin inconsistently. So I picked two albums that I know like the back of hand not just as far as the lyrics, but as far as what speed the songs play normally: Ready to Die by Biggie, and Led Zeppelin IV. They both played immaculately. No skips, no speed up, slow down, or hitches of any kind. As far as the Bluetooth connection, we all know what a pain that can be when you first set up a device sometimes where you do everything right and it still doesn't find the device. I had zero problem hooking it up to my headphones, it worked immediately and even a tech dummy could do it. As far as audio quality, both records sounded pretty good on my Samsung tower speakers, but I have to say I prefer the way that the digital songs from Spotify sound better. But when I listen to them on headphones, that's where this really shined. You could really hear the warm sound you can only get from vinyl, and of course as usual would headphones, I could hear a lot of little details that I couldn't on my speakers. Both albums sounded great. As far as the money? Heck no. $600 seems like an insane amount for this, and given the lack of nuance in my ears (no doubt partially because I've been to too many concerts and my hearing isn't the greatest) I'm not sure I couldn't get the exact same enjoyment out of a $300 record player. If this was a couple hundred bucks less, I'd probably give it five stars. ... show more
