  • Blown Away By this Turntable
Color: Gunmetal/Black Style: Wired Pattern Name: Turntable
Alright, folks, let's talk about this Audio-Technica turntable. If you're like me, you've got a stash of vinyl tucked away somewhere and you're ready to dust 'em off and give 'em a spin. But if you're still rocking that dusty old turntable from the 70s, it's time for an upgrade. And let me tell you, this turntable is the bee's knees. I bought this during the COVID times because I really wanted to upgrade from the disappointing turntable I had had since I was 12. I had had Audio-Technica Headphones before, and was pretty impressed with their quality, so I figured this turntable was a safe bet. I'm so glad I went this route -- every time I play a record, I'm yet again impressed by how good it sounds and by how much of an upgrade it is. So let me jump into the review of this turntable: first of all, can we talk about how easy this thing is to set up? I'm not exactly what you'd call "tech-savvy," but I was able to get this thing up and running in about 5 minutes. But the real reason we're all here is for the sound quality, am I right? Let me tell you, this turntable does not disappoint. The music comes through crisp and clear, with none of that annoying crackling or popping that you sometimes get with older turntables. And the fact that you can adjust the tracking force and anti-skate means you can really fine-tune the sound to your liking. And let's not forget about the looks. This thing is sleek and stylish, with a gunmetal gray finish that'll make all your friends jealous. Plus, it's got a cover to keep your records safe from dust and scratches. In conclusion, if you're in the market for a new turntable, do yourself a favor and check out the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM. It's affordable, easy to use, and most importantly, it sounds fantastic. And if you're still not convinced, just think of all the cool points you'll score with your friends when they see this bad boy sitting on your shelf. ** As a quick side note, I will say that I paired theses with the Speakers that Amazon suggested -- I believe they are Edifier. I'm pretty happy with this combo, I feel that the sound quality together is fairly pleasing, but that said I feel you can get a similar quality out of any set of good quality speakers. Just wanted to mention what I was working with though. ... show more

  • Best Entry Level Turntable!
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern Name: Turntable
The Audio Technica LP60x is a fantastic turntable, especially for anybody looking to get into collecting and playing records! At the price it’s unmatched, for it not only looks great, but produces an amazing sound as well! The redesign gives it a much more modern/ sleek finish than its predecessor, done by slight variations that together make the turntable look comparable to the 400$ counterparts on the market when on a stand. I love how easy it is to slide the dust cover on or off depending on your preference at the moment. The build quality is not the greatest, being composed of mainly plastics, but it never gets in the way of use or even how it looks. The only downside may be the inability to change cartridges, however for beginners that shouldn’t matter for the stock cartridge works great, and will carry you until you choose to upgrade if that’s what you want. The setup is extremely straightforward and easy, making it a fantastic for beginners, or anyone who likes convenience! You can function the turntable either automatically or manually which is great for I like to drop the needle myself, but let it automatically reset when the record finishes. I have tested the player with about 30 records so far, half old half new, all playing just fine! All in all, you would be hard pressed to find a better turntable at this price, and it makes a world of a difference than paying slightly less for a suitcase player. If you have some more experience or a higher budget, the LP120 is a perfect option, and one you probably wouldn’t even have to upgrade from, however nonetheless Audio Technica is the way to go, I am very very happy with my Audio Technica LP60x ... show more

  • Highly recommend
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern Name: Turntable
This record player has been such a fun addition to my space — setup was super easy, even if you’re not tech-savvy. It took just a few minutes to get everything unboxed, connected, and spinning. The instruction guide is clear and I had no trouble getting it ready to play. My room isn’t huge, but the sound fills it nicely without being too loud or muddy. You can hear all the detail in the music, and it feels really balanced — the lows have warmth and the highs are crisp without any static or distortion. I also love how adjustable the player is. Tuning the arm and getting the speed just right was straightforward, and it holds its settings well once you dial things in. Speaking of speed, it stays consistent with both 33⅓ and 45 RPM and I haven’t noticed any wobble or weird fluctuations, even on older records. Most importantly, it plays records really well. Vinyl sounds rich and full, like the music actually has space to breathe. I’ve played a mix of old classics and newer pressings, and everything comes through sounding great. Overall this record player is easy to set up, sounds gorgeous in my room, is easy to adjust, keeps accurate speed, and plays my records beautifully. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a quality, no-fuss way to enjoy their collection! ... show more
