  • Love this turntable!
Pattern Name: Turntable
If you have any experience with technic 1200s then you will recognize all the features and design. It's built well and heavy. I love it. Works flawlessly. Good value. Great sound. My citypop vinyl never sounded better!

  • Great turntable!
Pattern Name: Turntable
Pretty much new to vinyl. Decided to upgrade my suitcase turntable to something a little better. Decided on this because of the features, like the anti-skate, tonearm hight adjustment, etc. Also like the look of it, got in white! Did a little research on turntable setup and bought a set up disk. Set up couldn't be any easier on this and everything works as it should. Due to its weight its pretty sturdy. The feet already have built-in in cushions so no need to buy 3rd party ones. Only downside was the tonearm dropping faster than it should. So filled with silicone dampening fluid to fix. Great turntable, don't get why some people spend several hundred to thousands on a "higher end" turntable and still by a preamp and upgrade the cartridge, all the bells and whistles. If you do the same to this turntable pretty sure it will sound the same as that one. ... show more

  • Plays records that my former "Audiophile" turntables could not
Pattern Name: Turntable
I recently tried various audiophile type turntables to play my old vinyl records, and time and again they would start skipping on various records. Not a setup issue, it seemed more of an issue with how they handle anti-skating, or in some cases, don't do anything. Anyway, fired this thing up, hooked it up to a 70's Pioneer receiver phono stage, and it's sonic bliss. Such a joy to occasionally clear the digititus out of my ears with glorious analog sound. The crackles and pops are a reminder of how I used to listen to all my favorite music. No skipping, no fussing about, IT JUST WORKS. FWIW, I had Technics 1200s for dj'ing back in the 90s, and this table obviously was inspired by them. Unlike the AT and similar copycat tables, this one has a heft and overall construction similar to my old tables. The icing on the cake is the price, much more reasonable than current or used 1200s. Very happy with the price/performance value, and would definitely buy again. ... show more

  • Great turntable!
Pattern Name: Turntable
I got this as a replacement for a Dual from the 1980s. It was a trusty German table, but it had developed some issues that would take $ to solve. Being a musician (but not a DJ!) I decided to give this a try because of several reasons: 1. I wanted a fully manual turntable, 2. the USB and line level outs are fantastic, 3. the other DJ-centric bells and whistles are welcome, and 4. yes I might try my hand at scratching in the studio when the time is right for some loops and one-shots (but not today!) The first thing I played is a virtually new copy of Pink Floyd "Animals" (2018 mix). Stellar. The one bummer is the hard-wired RCA out--a cord dangling out of the bottom of the unit. WHY??! A pair of RCA output jacks is a no-brainer here. It's not enough to deduct a star, but WHAT WERE THEY THINKING??! Anyway, other than that, fantastic! ... show more

  • Beautiful, high-quality turntable that sounds great!
Pattern Name: Turntable
I was planning on buying the white version of the Audio Technica but after some research I learned that they cut a lot of corners on that one, so I bought the Pioneer. It's not quite as pretty as the Audio Technica but it is a very high quality turntable and I am glad I got it.

  • Best mid-price table around
Pattern Name: Turntable
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Over 5 years later and I have still mever had a single issue with this device. Worth it to spend the extra cash on this instead of a janky crosley.
