  • Great All-in-One Music Machine
It is easy to set up. Stand alone speakers. Records, CDs, cassettes and radio all in one place. Sound is very good and it has a remote control. Also Bluetooth compatible.

  • Cassette feature not working, item was fully replaced.
Update on the issue below. The company did contact me with a call and email. After I explained why I had not yet found that the tape player did not work and we went through some steps to try to get it to work, I was sent a new unit and did not have to return the original. I think they went above and beyond to take care of me. Thank you! Original Review: The cassette tape feature doesn't work. Following the directions but nothing happens. I sent an email and was finally able to leave a voicemail, but did not get a response. I like the rest of the features as I got it only to listen to old vinyls, CDs, cassettes or the radio while in my living room. It would be great to get a response on the cassette issue. ... show more

  • Does what it says and at a great price
For $99.00 this is amazing! I am a musician singer and have been around sound systems my entire life, I'm now 64. Let me make it clear that you will need an external equalizier to get the right tone from this product. It has no bass or treble control, no balance, just volume. The cds sound fine, some cassettes are ok and others are very thin and weak sounding, same with vinyl albums. With that being said, everything sounds ok. It is absolutley amazing that I can play cassette recordings of various bands I was in back in the 1980s and they sound great, they play at the right speed and don't sound shakey. I can also play things recorded onto my cell phone and they too sound great. Plus I can record these irreplacable tapes and home recorded cds onto sd cards! Absoltely amazing for the price! You can't go wrong for the price! If you want to play every format and be able to record it onto a flash dive or sd card...buy this! ... show more

  • Good mini-stereo, but not so good speakers
I like this mini-stereo, very light weight, does all it says it does in the description, but mine has a problem with the speakers. When the music has a high bass sound, the speakers sound like they are tore. The vibration cause the speakers to sound like they are broken (they might be). I have to lower the volume until that terrible sound is reduced. Overall is a good mini-stereo, light weight and is suitable for any small space you can set it in. ... show more

  • Doesn't tune AM correctly. CDs pause between tracks. Cosmetic defects. Not worth the money.
CONS: AM radio doesn't use USA frequencies. Cannot tune to 660, 770, 880 - the digital tuner can only tune to 657,666 or 774,783 or 873,882 instead -- which are not frequencies that are in use -- so useless. USA AM stations frequencies end in 0 - 880, 890, 900. etc. CD player has a pause between tracks, making it useless for listening to performances spread over multiple tracks. When a song is spread over several tracks, it stops for a second in the middle of the song while the next track number appears. This may have something to do with how the recording works on this device, attempting to create a folder of discrete tracks, but that's only my guess. For example, the first 2 tracks of Sgt. Pepper (Beatles) are is one recording with Sgt. Pepper merging into A Little Help From My Friend, but spread over 2 logical (physical) tracks, so the device pauses for 1/2 second in the middle of the performance. The device arrived with the front scratched (see photo). PROS: Good sound for small device. Small footprint lets it fit in a small space. FM sounds OK. Unlike the AM tuner, all FM frequencies are tunable. Tuner tunes in .1 MHz. OTHER: When there is a 12" vinyl disk on the turntable, there is less than 1mm space between the edge of the disk and the record arm. You must be very careful putting the record onto the turntable and taking it off again. I hope I can return it to the seller. I expected better for $190. ... show more

  • intriguing semi-digital complete sm. home stereo.
this seems to be a cheap quality unit. Tape player: only worse by audio: bassy/low volume: [muffled]: very lousy. other 3 audio features: good vs. fact neither 3 play if volume is apx 29 & more: [luckily it turns on only after powering off/on unit. theres no return of phono arm @ end of lp. lp cover doesnt completely cover lp but it @ least rests completely down. @ 1st phono had a humming sound @ end of lp & @ highest volume of 30 or [31? gotta get used to the button positions. a cd song stops before its end when its too loud. speakers sound good in that you can play a 50watt amp/elec. guitar in good balance w/ everything vs tapeplayer, though speaker sound is a lil' off on equalization: slightly less: treble/full sound. speakers are size of a good sony double speaker boomboxall. i doubt if i'll use sd/usb or recording but maybe some fm/am. hope this unit lasts a long time w/ usage. ... show more
