  • I'm happy with it...although I've already outgrown it.
Color: Bamboo
This is an excellent starter record player on a tighter budget. When I was initially shopping around I knew I wanted something with a little more features than the standard (and often crappy) suitcase styled record players. Based on the specs, this seemed like a great purchase at the time so I took the chance. It's simple to use, the speaker is adequate for smaller rooms, it looks nice, and the bluetooth option is very handy. Now if you let any audiophile (vinyl snob) provide their opinion, they'd swear that this player is utterly trash and will ruin your vinyls. As someone who isn't an expert, I can at least say that the included stylus is a decent, lower budget option that should not do any real damage to your records. And if that's a concern at all, then cheaper record players are not where you should be looking. I feel that this is perfect for someone getting their feet wet into collection and learning about playing vinyl. However, if you think you'll play your vinyls every day or already have a deep interest into collecting records, then I say surpass this and get something better (something with a better tonearm, stylus, and full sized platter). It hasn't done me wrong so I'll plan to keep it as a spare player. ... show more

  • Good sound and build for the price!
Color: Espresso
The Victrola Eastwood is exactly what I was looking for in an affordable record player. I listened to and used several different models and this one provides a very clear, balanced sound. The volume won't be loud enough to shake the room, but it is very comfortable for listening with a couple of people in a room. The built-in speaker box has a great balance of highs and mids. The bass is plenty enough for the variety of music I enjoy, but if you play super bass-heavy tracks, you might want to add some external speakers or subs using either bluetooth or through the RCA hook ups. The player looks fantastic just about anywhere you put it. Very classic in appearance, but easy to use. The auto stop feature when an album side is finished is great too, in case you leave the room or are distracted while playing. The only caution I would share is that the lid can get in the way and the records can rub on it if you try to raise the lid while an album is spinning. I choose to stop the album before opening the lid. ... show more

  • Decent sound, even better when paired to blue tooth speakers.
Color: Espresso
This is my third try at a decent record player for my daughter. The box type had absolutely horrible sound. Player number 2 did not work at all. This was does the trick. If you played vinyl on your old stereo system and are expecting the same sound quality, you will not find it in any of these players, the speakers are small with no bass. I think the reviews on these players that claim great sound lost their ear buds and are playing music directly from their phones. This one has decent, not great sound quality. You will be happy playing it as is as long as you don't have memories of your $1000+ stereo system. What sets this one apart is that it is the only one in its price range with blue tooth out. Most have bt in, but who wants to play your music on crap speakers. I paired it with a Sony blue tooth speaker - an easy process. The better the speaker/speakers you use, the better the sound. The record player comes with an Audio Technica cartridge, a low end one, but a real company. Bottom line, for sub $80 this will do the trick for a new record owner. don't give away your stereo yet though. ... show more

  • Great purchase for the price
Color: Oak
Bought for our son's birthday. It is his first turntable experience and he really enjoys it. Small and compact but has a good sound. Will bluetooth to his portable speaker as well. Easy to work.

  • Bad Motor
Color: Black
Sound (using external speakers) and ease of playing vinyl is terrific, mainly due to a quality cartridge. Third album played started sounding like it had some slow spots. This got worse with more use. By the seventh album we gave up. Just too sad to try and listen to great music on vinyl that sounded warped. The motor was failing. ... show more

  • A nice sleek record player with a nice sound.
Color: Bamboo
The media could not be loaded. When I saw the unit from Victrola I told myself that it would be a nice buy and an additional record player for my home. Not the loudest speakers, but has a nice sound to it. Plus with the feature of transmitting the sound to your favorite Bluetooth speaker like I did on the this video it makes it a good deal. Not only that it carries an original Audio Technica cartridge and needle which gives you a better sound quality then your average ceramic cartridge and sapphire needle. So this would be an excellent gift for someone starting to hear music on vinyl. ... show more

  • Pretty Good - But some issues
Color: Bamboo
I think this turntable would have been much better rated... It is small, has decent sound. (It is what you would expect, not booming sound, but decent volume for a room) When connected to my Bluetooth speakers, it can really pump out the sound. I have had this a month and I notice from time to time what seems to be the speed of the turntable spinning to be slightly inconsistent and slow. You will notice it in tones in songs, the speed slowing will change the pitch of a note in the middle of the note. That in itself drives me crazy. Everything else is good, but the inconsistent speed, making songs I have heard for many years, sound slow, or warbled is enough to knock it down a few stars. ... show more
