Had a lot of fun building this Lego. unfourtunately one of the pieces hat a malformation, and since I brought it back to my country, was not able to get a replacement easily. Fourtunately I was able to force it to the right shape and continue the build. Had no other problems with the building phase.

I jumped on this release of the F1 Petronas Mercedes because I wanted to have another large scale F1 Lego model to compliment my McLaren. The designers at Lego took this new model a step further than the previous one with quite a bit more detail. As you can see, the stickers are broken up to meet joint lines of the Legos, some good and some not so good. This model shares some similar build structures underneath, however, it really is significantly different than the McLaren in so many ways, which I really enjoyed. I will 100% be buying the next one that comes out. Build time could easily be done in a day if totally dedicated, however, I took about 4 days spending roughly 4 hours a day as time permitted. ... show more
