Pros: retro vibes, analog switches, looks cool, fun to use Cons: its really big! Check the measurements. It would be great if it came with a remote. There are other models that do and would be a nice to have. Speakers are not great but there are jacks to add some. The Victrola VTA-270B-FNT Empire Bluetooth 6 In 1 Music Center (33/45/78) (Farmhouse Walnut) is a nice piece for the price. After listening to Bose products for years, the speakers are not "fantastic" like a Bose or super loud, but this piece is well worth the price. I wanted a retro farm house unit for our living room so my husband and I could enjoy it on occasion. I love it has not only a record player, but FM, CD, cassette and blue tooth. To the person who made the smart comment on my question I wrote yesterday, I'm not that dumb, but maybe you should think before you comment. Many Victrola items, similar to this with a record player, come with a remote. The reason I asked is this does not have one, and for the CD/Blue Tooth, it would be nice to have one. I am fully aware it won't work with a record, etc. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. I also love this is a Victrola brand. It's super nice to have a modern piece with a long standing production run like Victrola. I'm giving a 4 star for the speaker quality and no remote. ... show more

Stereo system has nice styling and sound is ok for price point. My old boom box has more bass, but will try this stereo with some aux speakers. Cheerful nostalgia farmhouse walnut color is perfect. Works better with some CD's than others for volume, but good for bedroom or smaller room.

This arrived fully assembled. Whooohoooo!!! We're off to a good start. I'm amazed that I actually got an actual wood cabinet in a unit at this price point. It looks good. The cloth in front of the speakers gives it a truly vintage look. The dial, switches, and buttons are all good quality. The real test is the sound. Now, this isn't going to give you concert hall sound, but I was impressed. Sounds good, looks good. What else can you expect at the price? Love it!!! Update, I love this unit so much that I bought one for my niece. She loves music and now has various formats to try out. Oh.....I bought her a couple albums too!!! ... show more
