I have been looking in to new rugs for our living room. Most were over $300, until I stumbled across this rug. This rug is very soft and seems to be very well made. We unrolled it right out of the package and for the most part it seems to lay flat. The pics were taken only a few hours after unrolling the rug. Our cats love it, one of them immediately put their claws into the rugs and no fibers came loose or anything. I haven’t had any spills or messes yet, but will update when I do. The media could not be loaded. Smells really bad- smells like chemicals or urinate. The bad odor remains even after 2days of direct sun exposure with good ventilation. The fur is rough. The carpet is thin and hard. Not machine washable, dry clean only. Tooks effort to send it back with UPS so I didn't return it. ... show more

LOVE the look of this rug- soft underfoot, pattern is perfectly understated and would work in any room. High end look- only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is the smell- it’s STRONG- luckily it was nice enough out to open windows for few hours and we have a stong air purifier in that room- today seems bit better.- there is no water damage or staining on the rug it was packaged perfectly and well protected so Im hoping its just the odor from storage and will go away quickly! ... show more
