Using this as a table cover for board games - specifically at gaming conventions, because this is the exact size of most hotel banquet tables that get used for gaming at hotel conventions. And yes, it does that job BEAUTIFULLY. It lays flat without effort, is thick enough to offer good give for picking up cards and components, and protects my game pieces against the rough surfaces the hotel and/or convention usually provides (sometimes coarse tablecloths, sometimes brown paper, ick). I didn't notice any strong smell after the first day or so airing it out, so that's fine; the color is consistent, fantastic for making sure other game cards and pieces pop at a glance. And it's not going anywhere - it stays where you put it. Nice and thick, half the price of an actual gaming playmat of equal size - I fully recommend it for that purpose.

I like this desk mat because it is large enough (48") to protect my fine wood desk where all the computer equipment and monitors are positioned. I do not use it for gaming. I got it because I need desk protection. But the other thing I like about it is that it provides sufficient padding on the hard desk where I can rest my elbows and wrists comfortably. It arrived quickly - a day sooner than expected. It was well-packaged. It is heavy-duty, heavy in weight, and feels quite sturdy overall. It lies flat on my desk, with a few negligible ripples right out of the box, but will likely smooth out entirely after resting on the desk, and I don't need it to be absolutely flat anyway. It is thicker than I thought it would be, which is a real plus for padding for my elbows and wrists. The bottom is a nice quality non-slip surface. The top is a sleek, smooth material that dusts off easily. And it's a nice rich black which goes well with everything else. The price is right! I spend a lot of time at my desk, and this desk mat does what I need it to do. Highly recommended.

I bought this desk mat for my daughter for christmas on a whim. Wasnt really sure if she was going to like it or not. What a hit! She loved the size of it, the graphics, and how easy it was to slide her mouse across it when playing games. So I decided to look into a bit more and write this review. Quality is something that i tend to be picky about when i purchase a product. Especially when buying online picture dont really give you the full story. So is this desk mat as advertised? Yes, and then some. The pictures shown really dont do this thing justice. The colors on it are vibrant, the quality of the material feels really good, and there were no frays of any sort when it came to the stitching. The rubber underneath even feels like good quality and doesn't slide around the desk when your keyboard and mouse are on it. I was highly impressed with this and i would easily purchase another one. I do have to say that i wish there were more variety in themes for the desk mat. I am an advid gamer myself, but i am not a Fortnite player. I dont play overwatch either, but i would mind that particular graphic on my desk. I would love to see more games presented here, but i understand when it comes to getting licenses it can raise costs. I will definitely keep an eyeball out for when they make one that is Warframe themed. Overall this a great product. I would highly recommend this product if you find yourself wanting to build a theme to your workspace or your gaming setup.

I love the pattern and that it fits in nicely on my oversized desk. Things to note... the black is not a deep black but more of a slightly faded looking black. I don't mind this because the deep black mats would show scuffs from rubbing your wrist or arms across the pad almost immediately making them look so dirty and awful. This doesn't have that problem. The black stitching around the border is deep black though so I'm sure this was intentional. Second and most importantly, this mat has that strong smell from a factory when you first open it so beware of that... I don't know if it's the ink or what... It took a couple days but it's gone. Maybe spray it with some febreeze or something to let it air out first. Overall though, I'm very happy with it so far. I've been only using it a couple weeks so I'll update if something changes.

Great pad and it covers the entirety of my desk is awesome. I was easily able to cut to holes in it for the cable holes and it works as basically the entire top of my desk being a mouse pad now. I love it. Thanks

I got the giga size, big enough to cover all but a sliver of my desk. Construction, feel, and durability are all top notch. I let my cat hang out on it and she hasn't caused any damage to it with her claws. My only problems are with the practicalities of the thing. When you have big desk with three monitors, monitor stands, speakers, keyboard, mouse, usb hub, some audio equipment, and other assorted peripherals and doodads on your desk, getting this thing on or off is a real pain. Do you want to unplug every single thing on your desk and put it somewhere else or do you want to try to pick things up one by one and roll the mat out bit by bit under them(accidentally unplugging them anyway and having the cables fall under your desk along the way)? And then to clean this thing you either need a bathtub or driveway and a hose. My first time cleaning it there was a foot of snow outside so I had to use the bathtub, oh and I hope you have a pretty sturdy shower curtain rod to hold this thing up, its heavy enough when its dry and even more so when its waterlogged after cleaning. Letting it drip dry inside takes forever, it wouldn't be so bad if you could set it outside in the summer in the sun and the heat and the wind but indoors its going to take a long while. Just because this thing is such a hassle to clean I do it way less often than I should, I managed to push off cleaning this thing for over 7 months which was much longer than most people would care to as it was very dirty at this point. Then again, I work, study, game, play with my cat, and eat at my desk so yeah, if you keep a sterile workspace it won't get as dirty as quickly. If you want a nice clean looking mat all the time this thing is going to be a lot of work. If you have a minimalist aesthetic going on with your desk and not a lot of stuff on it then maybe it won't be so bad If you have a lot of stuff on your desk, its going to be work every time you want to clean it. If you are a clean freak you are going to be washing this massive thing all the time. If you get off on expending a lot of effort and time cleaning things you won't have a problem. If you are lazy and hate cleaning this thing is going to be a headache. Personally, I love and hate this thing, having a pad the size of my desk is both a blessing and a curse. Having it is freaking sweet, taking care of it not so much. I underestimated the responsibilities of owning a giga desk-sized mouse pad, I'm sure plenty of people won't have the same kind of problems owning such a thing as me, but, well, I am a lazy bum and realize now that I should have gotten something smaller and easier to maintain.

Fantastic gaming mat! We use it to protect our table during game time, dominos, cards etc. it’s very thick and looks fantastic. Easy spill clean up, water marks dry right up without staining. The thickness protects the table perfectly. It’s quite heavy and well worth the price. Highly recommend if you’re in the market for a high quality mat.

Pro *huge mat can cover most desks with no problem *very nice weave pattern that makes for a very slick pad for gaming *very good manufacturing came with no frays in material and edges are robust *easy to clean because of tight weave (hair tape roller works best) *can easily use this mat and your favorite pad on top with minimal deform due to the medium strength foam Cons * "size" this mat is very big so be sure to check desk size before purchase or you will be cutting it to fix * If you are looking for a medium friction pad I don't know if this will be for you has about the same surface feel as my slick HyperX pad so not for everyone Close * I do believe if you are in the market for a pad that is slick very large and reasonable for price i think this will work very well for you I did go with the non logo mat so don't know if that will change anything but I'm very happy and would definitely recommend this purchase.
