I think I spent more time getting it out of the box as it was "double boxed," for protective shipping than putting it together! LOL. Then how to break down the cardboard for recycling! It has four major pieces that logically fit together. I had no problems where the bench required screws and washers. Everything lined up perfectly. It is quite comfortable to sit on with good back support. It’s substantial enough but I can easily pick it up to move it to a different location if needed. Product advertises it can hold 350 lbs. I can't imagine how! They are rickety and hard to assemble because the screws don't line up. Paint job is very cheap. Tried to return it but Amazon wanted $175 to return, as this is a 3rd party seller. So the seller was contacted, Amazon claims seller emailed me (I have not seen this supposed email). Amazon says the seller wants pictures of the 2 benches. I will have my guys figure out a way to assemble these cheap benches and donate them to a school or church. ... show more

You get what you pay for. Nice looking for front porch deco. Won't hold up for heavy use. Fairly easy to assemble but had to ream the holes out as two of the screws and holes didn't line up. Not difficult as the metal is soft. Assemble on something soft. Paint job is thin and scratches easily.
