I actually haven't had a chance to officially install these lights yet, but I got them because I read that they are easy to install, and can be done in just a few minutes (with the proper wiring already in place, obviously). So I will be updating my review once I have completed installation. But for now I really wanted to say how pretty these are, and how well constructed they appear to be. I'm really excited about the motion sensors, because I live in Southern California and it's always good to have more outdoor lighting! I can't say enough about how pretty these lantern lights are! They are really well made, and they look high end. I'm really happy with my decision to choose these, and I can't wait to get them installed!!!

This well-made aluminum-construction porch light is weather-resistant, anti-rust, and anti-corrosion. Installation was straightforward. Remember to turn off the main fuse for the outdoor light switch. I removed the old porch light and unscrewed the old metal bracket. I used the old screws from the old metal bracket to screw the new brackets into the wall. Have someone help hold the new porch light while you attach the ground wire, the black wire, and the white wire. Adjust the porch light's two long screws to your needed length, and then place the porch light onto those two screws, then attach the two small white nuts. Place the cap over the top of the motion sensor and use the top nut to keep the cap in place (but be sure to use the included plastic washer in order to keep it water-tight). The motion sensor works well. I have it on Eco mode (completely off at night, then turns on 100% when it detects motion). Changing the mode is easy with one quick press of the button (located in the motion sensor area). Manual mode is easily entered by turning the light switch off, and then on. Hopefully, this porch light will last a long time.

These are some rather attractive looking porch lights that have really taken our porch game to another level! We replaced some common lights with these, finding it very easy to install these, but best of all we love the options with Dim and Eco we can use! It's nice we can have them ALWAYS on at a lower power and turn onto full power when motion detected, or have them "off" and then kick into high gear when motion is detected! Compare that to our 'its on' or 'its off' porch lights we had before! So, totally loving them!

This light provides a motion sensing and an optional dusk-to-dawn light. The brightness level of the dusk-to-dawn light is adjustable. A simple off-on action on the light switch provides a manual on override. You can easily set up this light to provide whatever type of automatic outdoor lighting you might want. The fixture is cast aluminum. It more substantial than a sheet metal fixture. All the necessary hardware for installation is included along with a few spares. The base plate should be sealed along the top and sides where it meets the building wall. You need to provide a suitable sealant. The base plate is 4 3/8" wide and 6 5/8" tall. Ideally there is a large enough flat surface around the outlet box to allow the base plate to sit flat against the wall. Light bulbs are not included. I think a tubular T10 type bulb around 5" long is a good match for this fixture.

We installed these at my husband's parent's home. They were easy to install with the provided supplies. The light has three settings, On, DIM, and ECO. The ECO mode turns the light off until motion is detected. Obviously, the On mode just turns the light on, regardless of motion. But the DIM mode is the most interesting to me. It will burn at a low rate until it senses motion and then burn with full power. The frame of the lights are well made and they work well. We are very pleased.

I asked my husband to install these on either side of the garage door. They’re GREAT! He said that they were a pretty basic, straightforward installation. (If you don’t know how to do it yourself, either look up instructional videos or have someone who knows how do it.) Once we put our lightbulbs in, it was amazing how bright they were. (Sometimes they even mess up my night vision for a short time.) The style is so attractive! These are a great way to update the exterior of your home without doing much. I definitely recommend these!

The older I get, I feel the need to conserve my energy. I have started to motion detect everything in the house! Now I have had a motion detecting light outside the garage before but it didn't last too long. We shall see how long this one lasts but so far so good. The installation was really easy. Just 3 wires to connect. Pay attention to the previous mounting in order to do it easy. You do need to support the weight of the lamp while connecting the wires. I used a lanyard and hung the light around my beck so that I had the use of both hands while working the wires. This lamp does not come with any light bulbs so I used some LED light bulbs around the house. I tested out he motion detection and it works great. The first one triggered the 2nd so I have a fully lit driveway. It's nice to see again since my old led one stopped working.
