  • Snow Plow, Looks Good for Light
Color: With Wheels Size: 38 inch
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to love this VEVOR 38-inch Snow Pusher Shovel with Wheels, Bi-Directional Heavy Duty Wheeled Push Snow Shovel. We don't get a lot of snow, but when it does snow, it's usually a fairly heavy snowfall that requires clearing the driveway and sidewalks around the house. Until it snows, I have no idea how well this snow plow will work, but based on years of shoveling snow I'm not really optimistic about it. The good part is everything seems like it's made of quality materials. The wheels seem sturdy, the blade seems sturdy, even the handle seems sturdy. Assembly is fairly intuitive. I wouldn't try to plow more than a couple of inches of snow at a time, though, because the blade is plastic and so are the rods that connect the metal handle to the plow. I'd be afraid that heavy snow would break these critical contact points, and I'm sad about this because I wanted this to help handle heavier snowfall. More than a couple of inches, I'll just be back to using my old snow shovel like always, so I'm wondering what the point is. There are a couple of design quirks that I think could make this difficult to use. First, there's nowhere to get leverage with your foot in order to push this thing if it get stuck. A simple design change could hep this thing a lot—a solid rod between the two points where the handle mounts would give the user a place to push with their foot if needed. The second quirk is way the handle mounts to the plow. The handle is free-swinging. There's no way to get leverage or lift the blade off the ground using just the handle, unless you pick the whole blow up. Having an extension that comes behind one of the wheels for the user to push on to lift the blade with their foot would have helped. On one hand, it's interesting that you can lower and raise the handle without the blade leaving the ground—potentially you can get a running start and use your momentum to help overcome any issues where leverage would be needed. It also allows users of different heights to use this plow without needing any adjustments. This also lets you pick the plow up and quickly flip the blade around to go back the other way. It just feels awkward and not like something that will be intuitive while actually plowing sidewalks in freezing weather. Overall, I think this snow plow is a quality product and an interesting design, I'm just not convinced that it will work as well as I'd hoped. ... show more

  • First Impressions
Color: With Wheels Size: 38 inch
So I ordered this in August, in Indiana. So no, I have not gotten to try it out on actual snow. I have, however, assembled it. So far, I’m not impressed. Assembly was way more difficult than it needed to be with the included tools. Do yourself a favor and get out an actual wrench from the get go and don’t try and use their included one. For the final step, the hole was so close to the wheel that I had a really hard time getting the hardware through. And that proximity seems to cause the handle to get caught on the wheel if you try and bring it too far down. I’m short, so it’s naturally comfortable to push it with the handle that far down, but then the wheel can’t spin. It doesn’t push that smoothly on my tile floors so I imagine the bumpy, snowy driveway and sidewalk will also be a challenge. The blade is plastic and the entire thing is oversized and difficult to store compactly. We’ll see how it does in the snow, but if it’s usefulness doesn’t justify its large footprint I won’t be keeping it. ... show more

  • Heavy duty.
Color: With Wheels Size: 38 inch
Got this for my husband to clean walkway quicker. At first I thought it was defective as form the angled assembly but he explained that is how its supposed to be with a snow pusher. The frame is heavy duty but lift to pick up. The wheel treads are deep so should move great over snot. I got the 36” length one but now thinking I should have got the 24” one for my 4ft wide walk way. The directions were hard to make out in pictures exactly which way to put bolts/ nuts in but I figured it out. I also took closer pictures is anyone else out there likes visual directions. We are just getting ready for winter to roll in so I can test on snow yet but I will update when the snow falls if I experience, ahem, my husband experiences issues. ... show more

  • push shovel with wheels
Color: With Wheels Size: 38 inch
i got the 38" push shovel with wheels. Assembly was easy up until the part where you attach the actual shovel to the handle. I followed the instructions to the letter - and it just doesn't seem like it's the way it is supposed to be. Although I wouldn't know because there is no video to refer to. The product page does however say that the shovel is reversible which is why I feel like the shovel scoop is way too loose - it's so you can flip it. It is September so there will be no snow for a while...although it doesn't take much for me to know what will work and what won't living in the tundra as I do. This is just push, no lift...as I mentioned, if I lift it, the shovel blade is just going to hang down (I'm going with the idea that I assembled it correctly.) I will be looking for how close to the ground this gets - my guess is that it will still leave a thin layer of snow. The benefit being that in large snow events, you just push the snow out of the way... no need to lift. The handle is at an angle so your shovel looks cockeyed, but that is to aim the snow off to the side. When i am actually able to test this in snow I will surely come back if I have any comments. 4 stars for now only because the instructions were slightly lacking and a basic video would be very helpful - especially so one can see what it looks like in use. ... show more

  • Interesting design, thoughtful reinforcement
Color: With Wheels Size: 38 inch
I haven't tried out a snow removal tool like this before; eager to try it out when it snows in a couple/few months. The bottom always scrapes the bottom, regardless of how you have the handles angled, because the handles are not locked into position. The wheels are hard plastic, and these are the parts I doubt will work well the most on the tool, though I can't knock it before getting to use it. Welds are nice and consistent; it looks thoughtfully reinforced both on the plastic and metal parts. Instructions are a bit wonky, and it'll go a lot easier with two people (especially if you have thick fingers), but it is possible to assemble solo. Shovel/pusher is easy to hang thanks to handles, and wheels can pop off easily if you like, given they're held in with pins (just be careful to not lose the washers). Will update review when it snows. ... show more
