The quality of the fabric is Good, for the price of this versus the 600-800$ ones that come with your RV brand new or dealer replacements. For $80 you will get EXACTLY what you paid for. It does provide shade, it installs the same as all the others(HAVE A SECOND SET OF HANDS 2 IF POSSIBLE) it DOES rip/tear easier than the higher dollar ones, so use extra caution. I would give a 4 star rating IF the material was cut correctly. Both sides the cuts are nowhere near straight. It's 19ft 5inch at the rv side, 19ft 7 inches quarter way to roller. 19 ft 4 inches 3/4 to roller, and 19 ft 6 inches at the roller end. This does NOT cause an issue with the products operation so to speak, but does cause a bit of head scratching during installation making sure you've got it lined up right for rollup purposes. Shade wise it offers shade just like any other awning would, does it reflect as much heat and UV rays-im no scientist so I can't say, but it does what it's intended to do on a bright sunny day. I would buy this again over and over instead of buying a 600$ high quality one that's just gonna tear and wear with use anyways. Proper use and maintenance it should last as long as the high end ones or at least half the lifespan. Time will tell but I'll buy this again when it's time for replacement and give an update on how long it lasted and how well it worked for us. Definitely recommend if you're on a budget or want to add one to your slideout for water protection. ... show more

It was for a 20 ft awning so the fabric should have been 19'2" but it came 20 feet long. Had to cut off 9 inches to make it fit. I cut it !9'3' so I would have an inch to fold over for a finised edge.

We got this to replace the factory awning on travel trailer. It is not as thick as the factory awning, but for the price, it is nice. We do not use the awning much, so I cannot attest to its durability, but I think it will be fine. Installing the fabric itself was pretty easy, but it did require two people. ... show more

According to listing, a 20’ awning should take a fabric replacement size of 19’2”. We have ordered this twice and each was sized improperly to a full 20’ so we could not use. Based on this experience we would not recommend this product or company.

Order the fabric for my 20ft awning says fabric would be 19 ft 2 inches. Got it out of the box put it up . Actual size was 19 ft almost 11 inches. Was to big and had some flaws around the stitching.had to send back.
